Profitable online Business Ideas; Success and Failure Part 3

I would like to start this final section, and I could go on for days on this subject, like I did the others.  I want to focus on success, not failure. If you're reading this article or others like it, it's because you want to succeed. You're looking for that one little nugget, that one little bit of truth, clue or piece of advice. Why? It's simple, you want to succeed!

It really all boils down to one simple piece of truth; DESIRE. All the other "secrets" to success mean nothing unless a person has a burning desire to succeed. It's simple but it's not easy. Most everyone would like a profitable online business, or just an in-home business. Hundreds of thousands of people spend hours on the internet daily searching for a way to make money from home. But how many people actually succeed? It's not because the opportunity is not there. There has never been a more opportune time. It's not because there are no systems. There are many good, legitimate systems out there. It's not because there is no help for the inexperienced. There are legitimate systems out there that truly have a desire to see people succeed. It's not because there is no proof that online marketing works. There is so much evidence of success, it's almost unbelievable.

So, it really all boils down to the one thing in the last paragraph, desire. If you don't have that burning desire to do whatever it takes, when the going gets tough, most people will quit. You have to find you're 'Why". Why do you want to build your own profitable online business? Is it just for money? Everyone wants more money. But I don't think that's really it. What we really want is what the money can afford us. I wanted to be my own boss so bad, that's all I could think about. I also wanted a life style. I wanted to come and go as I pleased. I wanted to be able to pay cash for a car instead of financing it for five years! I wanted to be able to vacation where ever I wanted. I wanted to give lots of money to charities and needy family members. And I realized that working a job for someone else would not afford me these things. But I thought about them constantly, until I was willing to step out of my comfort zone and do whatever it took to achieve them.

You see, if you don't have that kind of burning desire to do whatever it takes, you'll give up and quit on your dreams. You need to have a dream and a vision for how you want your life to be and how you want to live. And it must be bigger than any negative that you will encounter. You are going to encounter negatives and failures. Any person who has succeeded at anything worthy has! I remember when I built my first brick and mortar business. At that time I injured my knee and spent nine months on crutches because of the surgery to repair it. All my savings was spent just surviving. So for nine months, on crutches, I went door to door, literally, trying to find investors to help me purchase that business. Talk about discouraging! My family and friends kept telling me to give up, that it just wasn't meant to be. But the desire to have my own business was so great in my heart, I couldn't give up. If the desire is great enough, the no's and the negatives and the failures will not affect you. But, on the other hand, you can have all the other things in place and if the desire is not big enough, you will give up.

I know that this may sound harsh and cruel, and I don't mean to be, but I am telling you the truth. Arming you with flattery will do you no good. But if I arm you with the truth, that means everything. The one thread of commonality in all successful people is this. They all have a huge, burning desire and a dream and a vision for what they wanted in life. Find yours. Sincerely think about what you want in life and meditate on it all the time. Talk about it all the time with those who are close to you. Make it so big in your heart and mind that you even dream about it at night.

Find your one "Hot Button". It can be anything. Yours is not necessarily mine. We are all different. We all have different wants and desires. And they can change through the years. But the thing is you have to find yours! And when you do, make it big. Don't be afraid to dream big. Make that dream big enough that it almost scares you! And then, move towards it every day. Everything in life that has ever been accomplished has started out as a dream or thought in some one's mind. Start thinking about your dreams today!

Why A Project Fails? Why A Project Fails? - Hello Everyone As the size and complexity of ones business grows, so does their need to effectively manage projects. I have been thinking about the major reasons why a project can go wrong and my limited experience comes up with the following. 1 Leadership: A project manager with leadership skills and not just management skills. 2 Failure to (Foresee and) Plan 3 Failure to Manage: Ineffective change management control methods. Unclear decision making guidelines. 4 Talent: Finding, allocating and developing people 5 Scope: Setting an overly ambitious or amibigious project scope 6 Alignment: When projects are not prioritized in alignment with the business strategy, or project members personal objectives are not in tandem with that of the project / company 7 Lack of Candor: Communication Breakdowns I would be interested in knowing everyone's thoughts on this, especially on ways to overcome the above mentioned obstacles. Cheers!
