Why a Profitable Online Business, and How do You Want to Live?

Article Overview: How do you want to live your life? Have you ever asked yourself that? Ask your self, what kind of lifestyle do you want, what kind of house, car, vacations. Then ask yourself, will my job provide those things? If not, then you truly need to change something!

Why a Profitable Online Business, and How do You Want to Live?

Most people never really sit down and ask themselves, "How do I want to live my life?" "What kind of a house do I want to live in?" "What kind of car do I want to drive?" And the list can go on and on! How many people have really done that? Most people believe that those things will just come to them if they work hard. Why do they think that? Because they've been taught a lie! Have you ever really sat down and asked yourself any of these questions?To truly understand what I'm saying we need to backtrack a little bit.

So lets ask ourselves this one question, what were we taught as children about jobs, work and careers, and most of all, success and education? I can sum it up in one statement, "Go to school, get a good education, get a good joband you will be successful!" WRONG!

Now just wait a second before you write me off and click off this page!!! Lets take a good honest look at what I"ve just said. Lets look at the masses of Americans today. 95 to 97 percent of Americans today are broke. What do I mean by broke? They are just barely making it, especially in todays economy. If they lost their jobs today, they would be on the street in less then 3 months time. Most people are in tremendous credit card debt. The last statistic I read, most Americans have seven credit cards, all of them maxed out! Many Americans have over $100,000 in just credit card debt! Just credit card debt! Another statistic: 85 percent of college graduates never get a job in the field of their degree. And how much did they pay for that degree? Oh, and they have that debt to pay back too! I had a wise businessfriend once tell me, " Wendell, the word job is just an acronym, it means Just Over Broke!" I took that to heart. I noticed in my own life, a job just barely made the bills! But thats what we were taught in school, get a good education, then get a good job and we will be successful! Its not working today. But it never really was supposed to work. Now, before you judge me as someone totally against education, hear me out. I'm really not. I think education is a wonderful thing! In fact, I think a person should always be learning. I think education is an ongoing, lifetime process. I believe education for educations sake is a good thing.. We need to ask ourselves, why were we taught this. Why were we told to get a good education to get a job if its not going to bring us to financial independance? We need to backtrack a little further!

When this Country was founded, people were taught to work for themselves, starttheir own business! They were taught, "If you want to be successful and financially independant, you have to have your own business." People came to this Country from all over the world to be free! To have their own business! NOT TO WORK FOR SOMEONE ELSE! They wanted to be free. Remember that 95 to 97 percent number in the previous paragraph? It has another fact tied to it too. 95 to 97 percent of Americans todayWORK FOR SOMEONE ELSE! They dont own their own business, they have jobs. 150 years ago, that number was reversed. 95 to 97 percent of Americans owned their own business and only 3 to 5 percent worked for someone else. What changed? Around the turn of the last century America went through what was called the industrial revolution. Huge companies came into existence. They needed one crucial component to operate: EMPLOYEES! The government instituted the corporation status for tax purposes with these huge companies. And at the same time was the beginning of the State and Federal involvement in the school systems. They now had an endless supply of employees! The schools started teaching, "Get a good education, get a good job with a good company and you will be successful!" Is it starting to make sense to you now?

We were never taught in school, NEVER, to go out and start our own business! We were never taught to design our life and then create an income stream to support that. Were you ever asked in school those first question I asked? "How do you want to live your life?" "What kind of house do you want to live in?" " Do you want to drive a Porsche, or Corvette?" " Do you want to have a second home in the Cayman Islands?" Well if you want those things, dont get a job a McDonalds! You need a little bit more income thn what they provide! Have you noticed in life, that the people with that kind of lifestyle are usually business owners. Well, I'm here to tell you, THAT YOU CAN HAVE THAT KIND OF LIFESTYLE TOO! You just need to be in business for yourself. REMEMBER: An employer will only pay you, what it costs to replace you! To achieve financial independance, you must have your own business!

What do you have to do to have your own business? Really, its quite simple. First, You have to believe that you can have more in life. You have to believe that you deserve more in life then what you have. You have to believe!! It may sound simple, even foolish, but you need to talk to yourself, outloud, and tell yourself that you can, you will succeed! Tell yourself that you deserve more in life then what you currently have. Keep telling yourself until, without a shadow of a doubt, YOU BELIEVE IT! Remember: "What soever the mind of man can believe, it will achieve!" The mind is a powerful thing, it all starts with believing!

Second, you need to have a burning desire to have more in life then what you have now. Not just a want, but a burning desire! You need to think about it, dream about it, always be talking about it. A willingness to do what ever it takes to achieve your dreams! You have to do more than what the masses are doing. Remember, 95 to 97 percent of the masses are failing! You have to do something different and do more than what they are doing to be successful. Write your dreams down on paper. Put them on your refrigerator door, where you will see them everyday. Think about them day and night. Dont be afraid to dream again! As children, we were not afraid to dream, what happened? We were either told to quit dreaming, or we realized that we would not achieve our dreams, so we just stopped. Well, I'm here to tell you, start dreaming again!!! Because you can achieve them, you just need the right vehicle. What doI mean by a vehicle? Your job or business is just a vehicle to get you where you want to go in life. You want to end up at financial independance. A job is just a very slow, failing way to get there. Owning your own profitable online business is the fast way to get there. Ask yourself, right now, "How do I want to live?" I had to ask myself that same question some years ago. I had created several, successful "brick and mortar" businesses. By that I mean, conventional businesses. Buildings, products, employees, the usual typeof business. I grew really tired of it. Dont get me wrong, I was making very good money in many of them, but I had no time, I always had to be at the business. I had the headache of dealing with employees and all their problems. And it goes on and on! I finally sat down one day and just listed out the things I wanted from, what I called the perfect business. Now mind you, I had no idea what that business would be, I just knew what I wanted in a business after going through so many conventional businesses. It almost sounded like a "Pie in the sky" idea. I had no idea if anything like this existed, I just knew how I wanted to live my life and how I wanted to work my business. If it didnt exist, I was just going to create it. I wanted to work from home, no employees. I wanted it portable, to be able to work it from a beach in Hawaii if I wanted. A Profitable Online Business Idea is what I came up with.

There is an old saying, "When the student is ready, the teacher will appear." And that stands true today. I got online and started researching. I tried several things, and failed. Actually I tried quite a few things and failed. MLM'S, online scams you name it. But the key is, I kept trying, I didnt give up. And I finally found a system that really works.

TheThird thing you need is a successful, proven system, that allows anyone to join right in and start with an equal footing, or level playing feild. You cando as I did and go through the mine field and get blown up, and if you dont give up, eventually you will find the right system that works for you. Or you can do it the easy way and learn from my mistakes. Wise people learn from others mistakes. I know what you are thinking, I had the same thoughts myself, how do I tell the scams from the real thing. The system I chose had a stand alone product that was worth more then the entry price alone. That in itself showed me their legitimacy.. Everything I needed to operate my new business came with the entry price. And they are always there to help with any questions I may have. Many systems out there today claim do this. But what you find out, like I did, was you need to purchase one more thing, then one more thing and on and on! You dont have to re-invent the wheel, and you dont have to be the first through the mine field. Sometimes its all just a matter of a step of faith. Choose to change your life today! Take a step of faith to get out of the rat race! Its all waiting out there for you, you just need to take that first step. Believe that you can and then make a decision to to DO something, take action to change your life today!

How Quick is That - Just to let you know that as I'm not as sharp as I might be in the ftp sort of world, I had a problem today with uploading a new site. Hostgator 'Live Chat' fixed this for me in two minutes flat and didn't make me feel I was an idiot at all (at least anymore than I felt myself). As I'm in the UK and ringing early am for me here, I thought that 'Live Chat' might have been EST, so off for me, but no, they were there! BTW I'd spelt my nameservers slightly wrong - duh! The Big Book of Small Business: You Don't Have to Run Your Business by the Seat of Your Pants, by Tom Gegax. Ditto. 3. PADI: The Business of Diving Book Okay, so this book won't be of use to anyone who doesn't want to start a scuba store, but I did, and this book was of course invaluable to me in reaching that goal.
