Work Online From Home – The Many Advantages Part 2

In our last article, Work Online From Home – The Many Advantages we looked at a couple of advantages that the Home Based Business industry has to offer. In this article let’s look at a couple more important advantages of a Home Business compared to a job.

In the last article we looked at the tax advantages of Working at Home. We also examined the advantage of the freedom of not being tied down to a job, and the disadvantages of having to leave home and family every day. One of the most important advantages we talked about last time was the ability to build your Home Business as large as you want to. This is extremely advantageous, especially in today’s economy. This is one of the most important issues that most people over look.

In today’s economic climate almost every commodity that we purchase is costing us more. Just take a look at the price of gasoline and groceries. Everything is going up except for wages. In many instances wages are actually going down as a way for businesses to cut costs. Also just look at the amount of layoffs in the last three years. There are only three things you can do to combat this negative situation.

Number one is to ask for a raise. But really, how likely is that to happen? When things are this tight in the economy your company is probably suffering too. So the likelihood of getting a raise in this economic climate is probably zero!

Number two is to cut expenses. More than likely most people are probably already doing this. The vast majority of people have to commute to work. With the price of gas the way it is I am sure most everybody is already cutting expenses. And then top it off with the price of food today and I’m sure most people are cutting out everything that they can.

The only thing left to do is number three. Take your destiny into your own hands and create a Home Based Business for the income you need to survive. And not just survive but to do well. With your own business you can build it at home in your spare time until it is profitable enough to quit your job. And as we said in the last article, you can build it as large as you want. How big can you dream? How much money do you really want to make? Have you ever really thought about this? If money were no object how would you live? Almost no one who has a job thinks this way, because they know it will never happen as long as they are working for someone else.

So build your own business. Take control of your own life instead of having someone else control it for you, namely your boss. Money I made while in School Money I made while in School - While in university I did have a Student Loan (still paying that bugger off) and had a part-time job as a Call Center agent (inbound). *Canada* I also designed websites (outsourced all the work). I just worked on getting new customers, managed the projects to completion and helped create Marketing Plans for my clients (Online and Offline). *Canada* When I was studying the in the States I also made some money as a Part-time Flight instructor. *USA*
Re: Trade Shows - Are They Worth It? Re: Trade Shows - Are They Worth It? - HI, I have used trade shows (not participated) to collect potential clients. For example, the Home & Garden Industry is extremely behind the time in regards to their websites. I attended an Home & Garden Expo in Denver and collected all the companies contact information. I plan on cold calling & mailing information to each business. It also gave me time to research the industry more, talk directly to the owners in many cases, and learn more about what they need. Jeff
