Have you ever noticed when you go to a top marketers website that they have a bunch of testimonials on their pages? Have you noticed that many of the testimonials on the page are from a core group of internet marketers who seem to always endorse each others products?

This is not by chance, you see, top marketers will gladly give a glorious testimonial to be published on a page that will be seen thousands of times because they are allowed to put their own web link at the end of the testimonial, thus driving free traffic to their own website.

You can give yourself a super, unfair advantage over your competition by writing and giving testimonials.

This could be a BIG opportunity for you. It could be your secret traffic niche that sets you apart from your competition.

So, what is a testimonial anyway, and what does it take to write one?

A testimonial is a short written piece, usually between three and seven lines that recommends that the reader buy the product or sign up for the service on the website they are looking at, based on personal experience of the product. It is basically a person opinion filled with emotion.

I mean, you would just have to publish something like that.

Now imagine the website that published your testimonial was ranked #1 in the search engines, or maybe even had a list of 200,000 subscribers to their ezine. Now, imagine again if you did this for about ten different businesses all showing your glorious testimonial. You can see how this completely free traffic method can be extremely powerful.

The great thing is, you can write testimonials for all types of business. For paid products, ezines subscriptions, blogs, message boards and all non-internet related business too. Basically, you need to look for someone with a big list, or someone who does a lot of advertising so your testimonial will get in front of as many eyes as possible.

Now, here is the advantage you have over your competition: Very few customers, prospects or visitors ever take the time to write testimonials for businesses, so you can be sure that anyone you approach to ask them if they want a glorious testimonial to put on their website will say, "Yes, Please."

Just make sure before hand that they are okay with you putting your website or blog link at the bottom.

And finally, the magic of a testimonial is it gives what is being sold an extra bit of credibility and value. Testimonials can be hypnotic and slip past the concious mind and deliver the message of an ad. without seeming like an ad.

People don't view testimonials as ads, just a personal recommendation for someone else's website or product.

So, go and contact people today and ask them if they want a testimonial to publish on their website. I bet they will say Yes.

On Escalade On Escalade - I've seen the ad for "Turn you on" on TV here in Toronto but not the others. Yeah my girlfriend liked that ad too and started telling me wouldn't it be great to have one, I had to quickly remind her that one of the reasons we moved downtown was so that we could get rid of the car and plus we don't have a parking space for it. Honestly, I was seriously considering it.
Dramatized the product Dramatized the product - Tough one... It's going to have t be a mix of different media. 1. Testimonials of current owners of the product and how it's helped them. This can be done thru Video and print 2. Somehow I believe there will have to be Video of it being "dramatized" 3. People of influence will have to support or sponsor the product. just some that came to mind..
