Going out for a travel is a good way to release oneself from the nervous intensity. It enables us to get close to the nature. Usually, we took lots of photos to keep the beautiful memories. When coming back from a travel, many of us may have the thought of storing these photos in a meaningful way. Here I'd like to introduce how to create a travel slideshow with music for DVD playback.

Tools we need:

Step 1: Select photos from your camera

You may have stored hundreds of photos in your camera. But not all of them are needed to be included in the travel slideshow. You can select out the ones you want, and store them in a folder on your computer.

Step 2: Find out a sweet song with lyrics and choose a proper PowerPoint template

Choose a song you like to accompany the presentation is important. It makes the travel slideshow warm and comfortable. Besides, you can find a PowerPoint template suitable for your slideshow. Here are some free PowerPoint templates for you.

Step 3: Insert photos to PowerPoint and add the music file to the slideshow

Step 4: Decorate the travel slideshow with your creativity

You can add some GIF animation figures and small icons to spice up your slideshow, or add your own comments to one photo. After you have finished adding elements to your slideshow, you can then set transitions and animations for it. By doing this, your slideshow can be played automatically without mouse click.

Step 5: Rehearse timings of your travel slideshow

There are three ways for you to set slide timing in automatic presentations: through Transition settings in Animations tab, through Rehearse Timings in Slide Show tab and through Record Narration in Slide Show tab. Step 6: Burn your travel slideshow to DVD for playback on TV
