Guest post by: Adrian Farray

Article Overview: When building a network marketing business, you have to remember that sponsoring more reps is a key part of your success. More importantly, you need to bring in the right type of reps. Network marketing is not a game of numbers but of quality. 20% of reps will do 80% of the work anyway, so you want to make sure that you are creating leverage that can also be duplicated. Here are 5 marketing tips that will help you and your reps take your business to the next level.

5 Marketing Tips That Will Catapult Your Recruiting Efforts

1. Check Your Posture at the Door – How do you expect to recruit quality people when you’re running around acting like an amateur? You need to have the posture of an “already” successful entrepreneur whether you’ve already recruited 30 people or only 1. You have an opportunity that other people are seeking, and they need to see that you are a true leader and have what it takes to lead them to success. Walk, talk, and act like you’re the leader that they need.

2. Call the Heavy Hitters – Calling the heavy hitters means contacting the people in your life of great influence and credibility to introduce them to your opportunity. I know this may sound crazy, as most are afraid to call people of bigger influence than themselves out of fear of rejection. Remember that these are the people who will bring value and will potentially create a boom in your business, due to the influential connection they have, as well. Simply put, the heavy hitters are self-motivated and already successful which is exactly what you want for your business...period.

3. Do it “Right Now” – A big part of success in your recruiting is to have a sense of urgency, a do it right now mentality. There are too many marketers out there who act like this is boomerang marketing…throw something out and see if comes back with a million dollar check attached - it doesn’t work that way, my friend. A constant state of doing and a “no excuses” mentality is the only way to be successful in this arena. There are millions of people out there looking for a leader to recruit them, so go recruit before your competition does it for you.

4. Edification Never Killed the Cat – When recruiting, it is critically important to edify your business opportunity, and your upline leaders. These are the people who are going to assist you in enrolling prospects, especially if they are “heavy hitters”. Edification is not meant to boost your ego by any means but rather bring authority and credibility to your business and team.

5. Step Out in Faith – Last but definitely not least is the act of knowing without seeing. When recruiting, you must step out with a leap of faith and know in your heart that what you are doing is going to work and will benefit many others. Your prospects can smell fear a mile away, and if you don’t look like you have complete faith in what you are doing you will never pass go, never collect 200 dollars, much less have a successful business. Have faith in yourself and believe that you have something to offer the world because you do.

While recruiting may seem to be difficult to some, you must remember that we are all people and even though we come from different places, we all put on our clothes the same way. There is a world of people out there who are looking for a leader to show them how to successfully start designing a lifestyle instead of living paycheck to paycheck. You must understand these 5 concepts, apply them, and share with your team so that they can be duplicated. In doing this, your recruiting efforts will catapult and your business will thrive.
