5 Ways To Keep The KISS Method Simple In Home Business

1. Pick A Simple Strategy That Works.

Yes, you want to keep things very simple especially if it works…why make things painful, giving you one more reason for you to quit and say “it doesn’t work”

Don’t try to take on too many marketing strategies. If there is something you are good at, learn it, keep doing it, and teach it. This is the cycle that will ultimately pay off big.

Too many people overwhelm themselves with several different marketing strategies and haven’t perfected any of them. This will not get it done and will only lead to more frustration in your business. This also applies when it comes to following certain marketers, mentors, etc… DON’T opt in to everyone’s emails, newsletters and training because you get overwhelmed with things hitting your inbox to a point that you just stop looking…Trust me!

You find yourself watching others videos and bouncing around the internet before you actually get your work done if it’s not too late already..it’s INFORMATION OVERLOAD and it’s not needed.

2. It’s Already Proven To Be Successful, Just Keep Doing It.

There is no reason at all to reinvent the wheel people. Everything that you are looking for has already been done over and over. You just need to find who you like and copy them but add your own flavor on it. It’s not that Hard!

All of the success strategies via email, video, podcast webinar or whatever is all regurgitated info with a little twist. That “twist” is “you”, people buy things from people that they like and it doesn’t matter who you are or where you are from, there are people out there who want to hear your story.

Again, find what works for you, keep it simple and do it consistently. You will reap the benefits of your repeated action.

3. Pick Your Customers / Clients / Team Carefully.

This is “KEY”… So many marketers out there are trying to yank everyone and their mom in to their business. This is ludicrous, because those same individuals you begged to come in you’ll be doing the same to get them to stay or even just to work.

This is not good for your business and again, it brings more stress and it’s not part of the KISS method. If you’re thinking your opportunity is good for the dog catcher, garbage man or your low life friends who say your pyramid scam isn’t going to work anyway, you’re sadly mistaken. Use the 80/20 principle which states that 80% of your profit will come from 20% of your customers.

You only want to seek highly targeted, motivated individuals who can be taught and are willing to do whatever it to find true success.

4. Serve Your Customers And Serve Them Well.

When you target a certain market and people opt in to what you are offering, make sure that you continue to douse them with goodies. Many marketers make the mistake of trying to sell their product 5 minutes after they get an opt in. This again is not part of the KISS method and will ultimately kill your business.

Treat your prospects like you care, which you really should if you expect to have a lasting relationship with them. Don’t be cliché and or sly….Love them feed them value and more value and next thing you know they are loyal to you.

5. Take Action “Everyday” with no Excuses.

No need to sugar coat this one. “Consistency”, it’s what’s for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Constant action is what makes average people successful. So many marketers out there think this is boomerang marketing. Throwing some ads, articles and videos out and waiting for their bank account to overflow will never work.

Come on people, common sense will tell you that it doesn’t work that way and it definitely doesn’t represent the KISS method. Stick to what’s simple, what works for you, and do it everyday…period.

A wise man once said “Consistency is the only thing in which men are consistent” - Horatio Smith

Re: Trade Shows - Are They Worth It? Re: Trade Shows - Are They Worth It? - HI, I have used trade shows (not participated) to collect potential clients. For example, the Home & Garden Industry is extremely behind the time in regards to their websites. I attended an Home & Garden Expo in Denver and collected all the companies contact information. I plan on cold calling & mailing information to each business. It also gave me time to research the industry more, talk directly to the owners in many cases, and learn more about what they need.
