You Can Recover From This Economic Recession - Are You Ready For Change?

Everybody is looking for a change right? Or are they? Change is a word that can completely make or ruin a situation. Change can instill fear in the hearts of the strongest man and can light up the face an innocent child. No matter which way you cut it, change is inevitable in our lives.

Believe it or not, change is actually one of the few things that is constant in our lives. It doesn't always make us happy, but it is inevitable. For example, so much change has happened in our country from issues like the collapsing economy, job loss sky rocketing, and healthcare issues, that it makes me sick just thinking about them. Through all of this, most people's outlook on the future has changed just like the seasons. There is no safety net, and if things don't change now, we are in serious trouble.

The problem is that people want to wait on the government to fix everything when they're the bastards that screwed it up. You can't drive a car with a flat tire because it's obviously not going anywhere fast and ultimately it will collapse. This is the same issue going on right now under your noses and you can't even see it, or you don't want to.

This is not time for doom and gloom, although there will be plenty of that to come. This is a time to change the way we go about living everyday life. We need to pay closer attention to our financial well being and not getting ourselves into more debt by accepting loans that we know we can't afford. Look around and you see even the wealthy (or so you thought) going bankrupt and looking for bailouts. Hello people, are you friggin' paying attention or do you need another slap in the face by our government to wake you up?!

Change is coming whether you like it or not, and I strongly suggest you make a change now and prepare for what's to come which is the biggest wealth transfer in the history of mankind. The best thing about all of this is that if you're in the know and position yourself properly, you will create a fortune for your family for generations to come. For those who run from reality, they will surely see an unwelcomed struggle. Why would anyone who cared about their family's future take that chance?

People do not change because they fear the unknown, which is understandable. However, what I don't understand is how and why people would sit back and be forced to change, which is always harder than changing for yourself. I have been on both sides of that coin, and I don't intend on doing it again. I refuse to live a life of regrets or filled with the infamous "I shoulda, coulda, woulda's". What are you going to do?

Re: Spellcheck? Re: Spellcheck? -
When discussing the majority of people I would definitely say that most people hit the "Change" or "Ignore" button without thinking too much about the correct spelling of a word. All bosses are concerned about is getting the report to the Directors meeting on time.[/quote:2f894q6j] That probably depends on what the "majority" are trying to accomplish. I have word set to alert me about misspellings and grammatical problems, so I fix most as I go. But I also add names etc to the dictionary because I get tired of seeing the red and green squiggles when I know the info is right. If you're only going to click "Change" or "Ignore" then why bother to take the time to use spell check????? Business people that I work for want the info compiled in a timely manner and they want it right - which is fine because that's the way I strive to do any project. Sending out a memo, letter, report etc with obvious spelling and grammatical mistakes makes the person and the company look bad as far as I'm concerned. Shri
Re: e-Commerce and e-Payment providers Re: e-Commerce and e-Payment providers - Hi GT It is only fairly recently that people in South Africa have been able to get full use of Paypal as we were only able at one time to make payments but not receive them. Fortunately this has now changed. I have received money through Global X Change for one of the affiliate programs that I promote and have found them pretty good as the money is normally transferred directly into my bank account within 2-3 days and I have not had any problems with them. Re: Make sure you're a corporation Re: Make sure you're a corporation -
Here's another suggestion from my experience - make sure your company is set up as a corporation. If you're going for angel or VC financing, they will become equity owners in your business. For this to happen you need to have a corporation and a shareholder's agreement. I've seen a lot of deals fall apart because the business was not ready with their corporation. They were sole proprietorships and had not given any consideration to a shareholder's agreement. It makes you look like unprofessional and can seriously detract from your capital raising initiatives.
I agree that one major step in being "capital ready" is to create a separate entity. In the US that traditionally means forming a Coproration, although the LLC approach is becoming a viable option. However, just being a Corporation (or LLC) doesn't mean you are Capital Ready.
Re: Obama Wants Social Security for Illegals Re: Obama Wants Social Security for Illegals -
Obama WILL make changes... but they're not the changes we as a country need or should look forward to.[/quote:3kaa8sg4] Sad but this is exactly how I feel about it. Change is coming - but unless I'm really wrong, it is not a change this country needs. Amazing how much a good speaker with a good speech writer can do. If you paid attention to the things he said "off script" - much of it is frightening. Chris
