The Napoleon Hill Legacy

If I were asked to name one single contributor to my success in life, I would have to say it was reading Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill. I have read that book five times and I learn something new every time. Think and Grow Rich is a book about success, not only financial success, but life achievement success. A long time associate of Thomas Edison, Hill wrote \"This is not a novel. Primeau Productions, Inc. was fortunate to become associated with The Napoleon Hill Foundation. About two years ago, we met Don Green by restoring several 16mm films of Dr. Hill lecturing to audiences in the late 1950\\\'s and early 1960\'s. This connection has been one of the most exciting business relationships for me because of my affection for Napoleon Hill and his writings.

Today, we are working with The Napoleon Hill Foundation to bring Dr. Hills multimedia productions to the general public. We are in the process of translating The Master Keys to Success videos to Spanish. Other Hispanic multimedia products are also in production and will be made available in the near future.

Napoleon on Project Management - Why do I include this in a list of books aimed at female entrepreneurs? Well...in the expectation that there are as many female history buffs as male ones, and in the belief that anyone interested in history will find this book fascinating, while those interested in project management will learn a thing or two. I think this was the first "gimmick" book - an author using a historical figure (usually a male, military figure, it must be admitted) to talk about modern day business management. I refuse to read any of the kind that advocates - even obliquely - the techniques of the Sopranos or the Mossad - but these military ones are pretty fun. Anyway: Only in the understanding of history, Napoleon might say, do we gain an understanding of strategy in the present. Re: Burn all your bridges inorder to succeed?? - HI Guys, Great conversation! But I think we are forgetting that Napoleon Hill actually said to 'burn the boats" which meant that you have no way to go back. it doesnt mean burn your bridges in todays context of networking, referrals etc. By burning the ships, soldiers were forced to get off the island only by being successful. Like 'quitting is not an option'. I think that statement is still very relevant today, where many people start but then stop pursuing their dreams. Jude
