Video Forensic Expert Witness

Guest post by: Edward Primeau

Article Overview: Video forensic expert witnesses can play key roles in litigations. Expert witnesses have enough expertise in an area like forensic evidence that others can legally rely on their opinions. After closely examining the evidence, video forensic expert witnesses help lawyers determine if the case should be dismissed or if the evidence should be removed from the case. They also help law enforcement understand how to use police car video footage and help defendants understand and authenticate footage.

Video Forensic Expert Witness

Video forensic expert witnesses can play key roles in litigations. An expert witness is a person has expertise and specialized knowledge in a particular subject due to education, training, skill, or experience. His or her expertise is above average, and others can officially and legally rely on the expert's opinion about the specialized subject area (which could be in the field of science, technology, or something else). The expert witness will render an opinion about the evidence presented, which is known as the expert opinion.

Expert witnesses help lawyers develop strategies for how the evidence in question should be argued or presented in court. Because video evidence often may not be original or genuine, the forensic expert']);"> video forensic expert should closely examine it. The expert witness can then authenticate the evidence or strategize with the lawyer on how to write the motion to have the case dismissed or video evidence removed from the case.

Expert witnesses have a complete understanding of legal proceedings and can be a huge aid to the plaintiff, defendant, and courts when a piece of videoo evidence is part of the legal case. Defendants who are facing serious charges especially need to seek the guidance and advice of a video forensic expert. Plaintiffs who want to establish a solid case should seek the help of a video forensic expert to authenticate their video evidence prior to entering the court room so their evidence is solid. Expert witnesses are valuable resources to courts and other legal professionals.

Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) systems have become a huge part of our society and produce video that often ends up as evidence in court. When CCTV systems capture acts of crime committed in banks and businesses, the recorded acts of crime often need to be clarified by expert witnesses so the legal system can identify criminals.

Police car video footage has also become very high tech. Helping law enforcement and courts understand how to best use that video to their advantage is part of a video forensic expert’s day-to-day activity. Defendants also need help understanding and authenticating video footage, especially when tampering is suspected. Video forensic experts can aid in detecting tampering.

My experience as a forensic expert']);"> video forensic expert covers analogue and digital video systems for both criminal and civil litigation. I have a certification in digital CCTV systems from the Pelco Global Training Institute. I am also a registered investigator with the American College of Forensic Examiners International. I have successfully testified in many court cases involving analogue and digital video. My testimony has been heard in New York, Ohio, Michigan, Illinois and Pennsylvania.

I have worked with State Public Defenders in Michigan, Ohio, New Orleans and Missouri. I have also worked with the ACLU headquarters in New York as well as Michigan. I have testified in the Judicial Tenure Commission, Federal, District, Common Pleas and Circuit Courts.

Expert witnesses charge a fee to serve as an expert in the litigation. This fee is based on professional experience. For more information, please contact us.

Dramatized the product Dramatized the product - Tough one... It's going to have t be a mix of different media. 1. Testimonials of current owners of the product and how it's helped them. This can be done thru Video and print 2. Somehow I believe there will have to be Video of it being "dramatized" 3. People of influence will have to support or sponsor the product. just some that came to mind..
Power of attorneys, wills Power of attorneys, wills - I charge $50.00 for a basic will - but I'm a paralegal, they can start anywhere from $100.00 and up if you have a lawyer prepare one. You can get the will kit and it cost approx $40.00 plus tax. You can do what is called a "holographic" Will which is one that is completely in your handwriting. These are free. You can type one up yourself there are samples on the internet you can follow just make sure you get one that represents your province. The Witnesses are one of the most important part of a Will because they are the ones that will confirm your signature if you are not here to confirm it. Make sure you choose a Witness that you can trace if you have to. You may want to take it to a lawyer to have it witnessed and they charged about $25.00 plus tax. Hope this helps!:)
Re: How do you earn trust with an online business? Re: How do you earn trust with an online business? - Add VALUE to your target market. How? Well depends. If your business can start by Educating the target market about how your product or Service can add value to their lives. This can be done via Video (hot right now), basic text, audio etc. I've had a lot of success with Video and am using it primarily as a lead generation tool. If done right your Content can add Value and add to your bottom line at the same time while building Trust.
Re: How can I promote my site? Re: How can I promote my site? - I think because you have a very visual product you should focus on creating valuable videos and post them to sites like YouTube, Viddler and Expert Village. Some ideas for videos could be an overview of how to create an animated movie, tips for editing, how to find actors ...etc...provide value to your customers and they will flock to you like a magnet.
