Halloween Howl Seven by Author Paige Agnew

“We are all born with profound greatness, as immense as the sea. Every day is a choice of whether or not we live up to our potential. My inspiration behind “Seven” was the desire to get that idea across and do something a little different.”

Author Paige Agnew connects with her readers by telling the story of what human beings could potentially accomplish if we truly lived up to our own individual worth, and how we could change the world because of it.

Paige wrote her first book, Starless Sky at age 15 and published it in January of 2010. Her second book, Seven, was published in February 2011.

What makes Seven a great Halloween read is that it's a suspense thriller. The characters are thrown into a terrifying situation where they're tracked down and where their lives are at stake. Halloween's all about being scared for kicks. Well Seven's a kick.

In this novel, seven people are part of a large mysterious kidnapping for an unconventional social experiment. In order to win the madman’s game, they have to escape. And in order to escape, they have to push beyond ordinary to extraordinary in ways they never would have thought possible.

Two main reasons why you need to read Paige Agnew's book are:

This book is written by a young adult for young adults.

This book is written by a christian author and has spiritual metaphors.

Seven has twists and turns around every corner, and it will end with a bang. Individuals’ lives will be changed forever and hopefully the reader won’t be exempt. This book can be found on Amazon, Paige Agnew's website and other retailers.

Re: VALUE = ROI / Price (Cost) or Opportunty Spent Re: VALUE = ROI / Price (Cost) or Opportunty Spent - [quote="Takuya":ra8u6vda]OK, but what many people do not realize is.... just because the "free offer" is relevant, or we didn't pay money for the message, it still costs our opportunity to be just paying attention to it. Here is a scenario, I get a phone call from a stranger who knows nothing about me. Without asking me for a permission, just because their FREE message is relevant to what I do, they assume they're doing me a favor by approaching me with their promotion.[/quote:ra8u6vda] Hi Takuya, While I understand your position, I think you're straying off topic from what Andy and I interpret as "giving value first" and asking for nothing in return. If you try to help a potential client by simply offering your related service or products for free, then that's self-serving because you're trying to make the sale. And no one likes cold callers. A good example of offering value first would be: -I want to connect with Business Author ABC. -The next step would be to find out how I could help (and NOT by trying to sell my product or service). -Let's say I learn that this author wants publicity for his/her new book, so I introduce Business Author ABC to an influential person in the book/publishing industry like Oprah and ask for nothing in return. -Then Business Author ABC would want to connect with me and want to learn what I do for a living. -And in the future, Business Author ABC would want to help me in the future if need be. It's as easy as that.
Re: Mother's Day and small business Re: Mother's Day and small business - I have a friend, when he finally focuses, he spends his entire year getting ready for Halloween related stuff. One time I heard about these seasonal stuff and I did experiment using Google Adwords, selling books related ... I can't remember what it was, but I made a surge of sales. I am sure smart folks are leveraging from them. good to see you back everyone, I have been away for a little while... Takuya

Re: Ideas For Business Re: Ideas For Business - Thank you for the location tips! we will try relocating next weekend. -The 12.50 was the amount of money we made that day, so the profit was less than 12.50 if we minus the cost of the original cost of chocolate bars. -We bought the chocolates in Halloween packages, around 10$ for a large pack. The actual cost of each chocolate bar are around 15 cents for small ones and 50 cents for the bigger ones. We only sold a fraction from the package to make 12.50 which means we have made a profit.
My collections My collections - I do have a few collections - I think you're right - everyone collects something! One of my favorte charactesr as a kid was Captain Hook from the movie Peter Pan, so I've got quite a few statuettes of that character, along with Smee and the Crocodile, plus a hat and a hook that I picked up from Disneyworld a few years ago.. (I wear them when giving out candy for Halloween...) I collect theatrical posters, and a few movie posters (all of my wall-to-wall bookcases have "doors" on them, consisting of those posters, since I don't have wall space for 'em!) of my favorite movies.
