Feedback is Important
- True... and it is the only way the others can see how good is it to deal with that person. You'd definitely feel more secured if you are dealing with a person with positive feedbacks than to those which has negative feedbacks or no feedbacks at all.
Re: Voise SMS feature on mobile...Yes/No
- [quote="Ashish":3h0a6swd]Hello Members,
I just came up with a question and thought to share with you all. If your mobile service provider comes up with a voice SMS feature, do you think its a good idea?
As a customer would you like to have it on your mobile or do you think text message is good enough for now? If somebody comes up with this feature what do you think, how will it do in the market?
Any opinion?[/quote:3h0a6swd]
Interesting question. At the moment, I receive occasional SMS text messages from my service provider Telus which I consider it to be "phone spam" and delete them immediately. But to answer your question, I'd prefer to receive SMS in the form of text messages rather than voice because it would less hassle for me. For instance, I could scan through a text message with my eyes faster to see if I was interested without having to hear a long drawn out voice message about something I may not even want.
Tips To Help You Create A Marketing Plan That Works
- A marketing plan is a written plan with details how you intend to make your target market aware of your product or service.
Here are some tips to help you create an effective marketing plan.
1. Before you decide where you business needs to go you need to take stock of where it currently is. Where does your business currently stand? Take some time to assess what areas of your business need to be focused on in order for it to grow. Is your business still in the start-up phase? Do others know about your business? What are the positive or negative comments you received during the test phase of your marketing?
2. Now decide where you want your business to go from here. Take some time to set realistic, achievable goals and then write down the steps you need to take in order to reach those goals. Break large, long-term goals into smaller short-term mini-goals. In this way, you can keep track of the progress you are making.
3. Look for a smaller niche within your larger target market. Find customers whose needs are not being met and then fill those needs. That’s the fastest way to build a successful business.
4. Decide on your marketing message and on the medium you want to use to get that message out to your target audience. List the media outlets you want to try and make a note of the ones you want and can afford to do first.
5. Use a combination of free and paid promotions. It’s important to reinvest a portion if your profits back into your business so that it can continue to grow.
Start now. It takes time and effort to keep your business going and growing. Take small steps each day and your business will be thriving.
Re: Offline Marketing V/S Online Marketing
- I think both are important but what most people forget is that the internet is just a medium for the mass distribution of a message when it comes to marketing, is it quicker and more easier for your potential customer to find you and easier to deliver stuff yes absolutely.
In terms of your marketing though, the distribution of the message is of no consequence if the message is not relevant and beneficial to the end user i.e your prospect.
If the message is in terms of you then no one will care and it will smack of just another advert, however if it is benefit laden and points to solving a specific problem you have highlited as existing within your target market you are now getting somewhere.
How you distribute that message, T.V radio, newspaper, facebook, youtube or articles etc is all just the same to an extent, the quality must be in the actual message itself
Product promotion strategy
- I do not know whether domestic users are end-terminal user or not. We started the business by selling the product in local markets and the feedbacks was awesome. A lot of customers keep coming back for more and always refer another customers to try our products.
Majority of our sales still come from domestic users. we have some commercial customers that sometimes refer other shopowners (mainly fish n chips shop or restaurant)to try our products; the feedback was great, that’s why my boss is very aggressive at the moment.
Do you think cold calling is better at this stage to open our market to industrial and commercial users as well as resellers? or jus knock on their door or doing the traditional promotion?
