These directories are a wellspring of information for the millions of internet users all over the world on basically any subject in which anyone could possibly have an interest. More importantly, for those that market products or services on the internet, article directories provide an extremely useful tool.

For those of you who are unfamiliar with the basics of article writing and submission, the following will give you a quick overview. People who do business online such as online savvy businessmen and entrepreneurs who are looking to market their products or services write articles and submit them for publication to the various online article directories. These articles are often informative, give value to the reader, and generally have links leading to the businessman's website or online store. Some articles are also used to directly promote products, services, brands, and even companies.

Article directories have become an extraordinarily valuable tool for the internet marketer as they serve as a venue for regular internet users to locate valuable information specific to their needs. For example, should an internet surfer want to read more on the topic of making ice cream, article directories can be the ideal source of their required information. Since these article directories attract hundreds of thousands of viewers each day, they are obviously very ripe ground for marketers to promote their products or services.

It is important to remember that although article directories

have become an integral part of the marketing plans of online businessmen and any internet marketers, they still remain a valuable source of information that is used by internet surfers. Valuable information such as basic facts, how-to articles, critical articles, product and service reviews and updates, and even product information guides can be obtained from such directories. A majority of the articles found in these directories are also linked to other websites which can allow the internet users to dig down even further for more specific details should they be needed.

Re: Kevin's Case Study #11 - A New Forum Category? - Hi Kevin, Like GT suggested, I also think you can add Internet Marketing as a sub category in the Marketing section and also a Social marketing as subcategory. Online marketing/internet marketing/online promotion are the same, and it will be best to use the common term - Internet marketing. I can't think about someone to moderate a Social Marketing category. We all use it, we all know how to make it work and we all have our own different experience with it.

I had my last 750$ in my pocket to make money online. If I spent it in a wrong way, I would have to lose my chance to own business on the Internet. But I used it wisely and bought D. Gerl's Insider Secrets to Internet Marketing. Then put the rest of the money into Google Adwords and could save my business. But now..... I would continue my monthly membership on SubmitYourArticles Article Submission Service (37$), buy Revolution Wordpress Theme, maintain monthly membership on J. Humpereys ASC membership program and the rest of money put into Google Adwords and Yahoo Ads. Orxan
