Boxing Day & Work From Home

I sit here at my husbands desk to write to you, mon ami, about the joys of working from home... The house is having a wee bit of work done to it so we have moved the rooms and the old block of 2 chairs & sloping desks - used for painting the Warhammers - was moved in front of my husband's bureau. Zelie got from father Christmas a set of glitter tinsel and glue, which brought me back a couple of decades I can tell you!!! So this table/desk is usually full of war and it's weapons is covered of pearls, tinsel and glitter being stuck on these lovely pots and cards, right in front of me:) Here is where at the back of my mind my voice is saying 'come on girl get to do your home work ha ha ha...» so not wanting to miss a minute of this scene and share with the girls this wonderful time I thought I would write an article from here:)

This is really when it brings it all home the luck I have & how I am blessed to be able to work form home, some of my friends have already gone back to work... away form home. Working from home is wonderful when you have the mentality to actually get some work done every day. Like all jobs at the start you must get your marks, then the routine will set in and you will find that with the marketing taught this new way that you can get it all automated and it takes care of itself. I am in Europe and the webinar trainings are in the United States generally start at 9pm est which is 3 am local time for me. No problem I can arrange my time - sleep time too! And if You are not the night owl I am then no problem either these are recorded so you can arrange to listen to them in the mornings or afternoon... You are your own boss & YOU decide how to do it, and at which pace you can do it. But let us not forget that it must get done for the money to come in.

Being a mother, to my amazment, is extremely hard work! My Mum always made it look so easy and the one thing that you hear the most is "So what do you DO all day?" (here in France anyways), socially we are not very much appreciated and by really successful women we are snubbed but every person on the earth has a mother, working or not. As the work from home market is growing and I truly believe that this is the future for us Mums. No matter how much we fight for the same rights as our fellow males I am too happy raising my children myself to let someone else have that privilege, whilst at the same time having that career buzz and moving on. How much more could you want?

With such a feeling of gratitude, fulfillment and happiness my aim for 2011 & in life right now is to give the opportunity for all, but especially for mothers to really have the same chance, to be really blessed and grateful for every day we are here on the planet.

I love the holiday season with time in the kitchen, working from home in between shopping, having friends around. Wanting to empower all so they may do the same and after all these hard-working days I can also enjoy time out with the glitter and tinsel or even warhammer painting. So I shall put in a couple of adverts and the automatic answering machine will be put into good use:) You too seriously think about it for 2011...

Re: Trade Shows - Are They Worth It? Re: Trade Shows - Are They Worth It? - HI, I have used trade shows (not participated) to collect potential clients. For example, the Home & Garden Industry is extremely behind the time in regards to their websites. I attended an Home & Garden Expo in Denver and collected all the companies contact information. I plan on cold calling & mailing information to each business. It also gave me time to research the industry more, talk directly to the owners in many cases, and learn more about what they need. Jeff
