Leaves in the river.

Today is a lovely automn day here. After so many years in a cold wet English climate I am always amazed by the sun's rays on this earth, even just in SWFrance...So the sun is shinning, there is a slight breeze and I have eclipsed to go to the river...I have enough luck to live in the woods, so off I trot in the pine trees on the sandy path to the river. As it is autumn we get our colours from the ground - we have the most beautiful mushrooms, orange, red, brown, white...

The good thing about a managed forest (all woods in France are managed - no wild undergrowth here guys!) is that the pine trees are not all the same height, so in some areas you will be with trees leg high & the sky is the limit & in others they are about 20-25m so you walk in the shadows and cooler patches of forest. This means it is never monotonous, even if you do have just pines for miles around you! Also the mushrooms gathered will vary form patch to patch.

As I get to the river the sound of running water is already quite uplifting in itself, it is more of a 'rivulette' than a river really but it is very very peaceful and more importantly revigourating, ressourcing.

I get down to some exercises and watch the 'noise' of the river and soak it up! As I watch a small leaf fall into the river, I follow its path which is blocked by a fallen branch. After analysing leaves flow towards this part of the river I draw a parallel to our own industry of multilevel network maketing. We are all like the leaves following the flow & the current whilst many of us get blocked by something; for the leaves it is the branch, for us it may be numerous set backs ranging from financial, lack of time, lack of energy, personal developement to burn out - some leaves went really fast to the branch, others took their time but in the end they get stuck at the branch. Yes, some do make it over the branch, either they came on a good fast flow, arrived at a time where there were enough leaves to 'leaver' them over, or the branch had rotted away a bit by erosion . I think that the parallel there is self explanatory, no?

But there was this one leaf which is what got me thinking as this went totally the other direction and found a way to by-pass the branch althogether! The leaf had 'gone round' the branch and come out the other side much faster and continued in its path down the river. I was thinking 'Oh may, how lonely that path must be, with every body telling you 'hey you're going the wrong way' but you KNOWING in this gut feeling that it is the right way. In the end you have gone faster & quicker than all the others to continue on with life, but what a decision, what a ride & how strong you come out of that, for having stood your ground, can you begin to imagine?

In network marketing we have already made that first choice and we are the leaves, my friends, we have already chosen to go a different route then the masses. We have chosen the freedom of life & what it can give us! This is not an easy option to face family, friends, bankers even telling us that we have gone the wrong way 'hey come back here the good route' & having to tell them that this is your choice to go down this path & «this is going to work - I just know it!» Now for 97% of us networkers it does NOT. This is when we get stuck on the branch in the river...

But for 3% of us who are different and chose yet another different path which is the side path of the leaf at the brach. We by-pass the branch, feeling very very lonely and insecure but we have faith and belief in ourselves.

So, my friends, I am lucky enough to be at this point in my career, I am very very blessed & lucky to have found a community that answers all my questions and I know that I am in the 3% now . I have the right mind set & belief is high. This community helps me grow and grow so much that it is mindblowing. I feel such gratitude for all this that I am eager to give back. If you want the chance to meet up, let me be the one fortunate enough to show you and invite you to a free training. You want to change from 97 to 3 %??

Where's the Entrance? Where's the Entrance? - that's true I've been seeing a lot of construction going on to the City of Toronto's sidewalks and even Movie shoots sometimes block of access to stores for a week sometimes.. Guerrilla techniques should be at play here. 1. Get a Can of Paint and some Footstep Stencils and paint footsteps all the way from the accessible street right to your temporary entrance. (may be illegal but the store owner could plead innocent and say he has no idea who did that - maybe a "fan" of the restaurant) 2. I remember when there was the SARS outbreak in Toronto a lot of the Chinese restaurants were not doing so well except for Lee's Garden. I noticed they created a special Menu with prepackaged Menu Items for $20. 3. Create some buzz like with a Unique expereince - "Someone stole all my Plates! Now serving food on Banana Leaves - Guess What! The Food tastes better than ever! Blah Blah...
