Article Marketing: 6 Places to Get Published and Drive Traffic
Article Marketing is a tried-and-true way to drive traffic to your site. There are so many places to submit your articles, but not all submission locations are equal. Below are 10 types of places (along with a few of my suggestions) where you can submit your articles and thus drive traffic back to your site.
1. Blogs
• Look for industry-specific blogs. Search Google for blogs written for your target market, and look to see if they accept submissions. When you find one that does, work on building a relationship and then pitch your articles.
• Also, subscribe to BloggerLinkUp. This newsletter lets bloggers request posts on specific topics.
2. Industry Sites: Search for industry-specific sites that post articles or host newsletters.
3. Professional Associations
4. Trade Associations
5. Article directories-sites that accept article submission or guides-such as:
• Examiner
• iVillage
• About
• Hubpages
• SelfImprovement
• IdeaMarketers
• EzineArticles
• GoArticles
• Suite101
• Article Central
• Buzzle
6. Ezines: Many ezines and online newsletters accept article submissions.
The most important thing to keep in mind is to write quality articles that deliver good, interesting information that inspires people to visit your site and to share your content with others.
