Are you looking for fish? Or are you looking to become a fisherman?

B2B Demand Generation | Learning be a great fisherman

Companies look for high quality sales leads. (fish) Quality sales leads (fish) combined with good sales processes leads to new customers. Every business needs customers, so they continually look for more fish.Fish
They contact fish markets and are mostly disappointed in the results. When they want salmon or marlin, they get minnows. The problem is that acquiring high qualify fish (customers) is not easy.

See all the great fish in this picture. Did they just charter a boat and go fishing? No. The people in this photo hired a top fishing company in Alaska. In my humble opinion that's why companies need to look to top lead generation companies like Find New Customers and talk to experts like Ardath Albee or Jim Burns.

I recently got this from a CEO "The problem we have run into is most of these companies provide junk for leads and do not provide a good ROI." Since the process is difficult, companies try to offer quick fixes, which only result in names (minnows), and not game fish (quality sales leads.)

We don't sell you low quality fish - or any fish. Instead, we teach you how to fish (B2B lead generation). We train you on fishing (lead generation programs). Once you learn how to fish, you develop your own business sales leads. Your salespeople get high quality sales leads for life.

If you are looking to buy fish (leads), look elsewhere. But if you want to learn how to catch your own fish (generate quality sales leads) like the happy folks in this photo (customers) for life, talk to Find New Customers. And if you want a free white paper that explains in simple English (or Portuguese) how to implement your own lead generation programs, download How to Find New Customers.

Become an expert fisherman and eat for life.

Re: What I'm reading this weekend - Jan 21, 2011 Re: What I'm reading this weekend - Jan 21, 2011 - Just going off topic for a second... I read the 'farmed salmon' article. Nothing that I didn't know already, but I thought I would post a warning to people who want to protect their brain cells. If you eat fish, when you buy it, ask if it is farmed. If it is then don't buy it. Buy wild fish, yes it is more expensive, but your body will thank you for it! If you want salmon, buy a can of wild alaskan salmon instead. Back to the topic...
Being kind this Christmas Being kind this Christmas -
My friend wants to go around the streets on Christmas night giving homeless people $20 bills. Maybe I'll tell him to start a fundraiser, find a few sponsors and hold an event instead? It could be for everyone who don't have a families to be with during Christmas? They can all get together on Christmas day and have some fun and get to know each other. (sort of like a little family?) It probably sounds better in theory though, lol.[/quote:ndy83sc7] Hi Nana, I think your idea is much better than your friend's for 2 reasons: a) It's not really safe handing out cash on the streets. If people know you're carrying a lot of $20 bills, you guys could get mugged. b) While giving homeless people $20 each is very kind, what's going to happen once they've spent it all? It's better to teach someone to fish than to simply give them a one-time fish. Maybe you and your friend could create a service to help homeless people get permanent employment??
Product promotion strategy Product promotion strategy - I do not know whether domestic users are end-terminal user or not. We started the business by selling the product in local markets and the feedbacks was awesome. A lot of customers keep coming back for more and always refer another customers to try our products. Majority of our sales still come from domestic users. we have some commercial customers that sometimes refer other shopowners (mainly fish n chips shop or restaurant)to try our products; the feedback was great, that’s why my boss is very aggressive at the moment. Do you think cold calling is better at this stage to open our market to industrial and commercial users as well as resellers? or jus knock on their door or doing the traditional promotion?
Re: How do you stay motivated as a startup? Re: How do you stay motivated as a startup? -
Hi Everyone, I was wondering if some of you could share a few tips on how you stay motivated as a new entrepreneur. For instance, what do you do when: • You lose an opportunity, sale or client • You see a competitor doing something very well • An expense costs more than you bargained for • Your hard work and efforts haven't yielded any significant results yet Thanks![/quote:oaw6ne0y] Lose an opportunity - i try to remember that there are millions of fish in the sea... i lose one.. there's still plenty of opportunity to go after more. And depending on who it is.. i feel honored to have even had the opportunity to go for it. Seeing a competitor do something well is actually a good motivator for me. It will push me to finish or upgrade one of my services or marketing campaigns. All of business is about trial and error... so if my hard work isn't seeing results, than i tweak my practices a bit until they do. Test and retest. Talk to others...see what it is that i'm doing differently.
Re: Exotic Tea Shop Website for Review Re: Exotic Tea Shop Website for Review - Hi David - I'm a little late to the party and am just seeing the site for the first time. My first thought is that the banner at the top could be improved. I actually didn't know what the picture was at the start - I thought it was a fish in a glass (I guess the bubble made it look like a fish's eye) - maybe it's just me! If this is an actual store I would love to see Roland in the store as part of a big banner. Roland looks like a really friendly guy and he'd be great on every page at the top! Your first call to action seems to be the newsletter - why not offer some kind of free download to encourage people to sign up for it? If he's also selling his tea online, I'm confused by the Amazon affiliate program on the right - why not push out his top selling products there? His posts are also pretty short - hard to get ranked in Google - if he posted less frequently but in more depth and really let his passion for tea show through he'll have a great shot at getting more traffic. PS. I just finished reading Crush It! today and one of Gary's top 5 ideas for someone else to do is be the internet's expert on tea - sounds like a great opportunity for you / Roland. I recommend the book for all entrepreneurs but particularly that section at the end as it will apply to you. Good luck! It seems like you've already made serious progress on this sit and I'll try to stay on top of it - sorry again for being so late with my feedback!
