How to Find New Customers – the classic white paper

This white paper, sponsored by Marketo, is several years old. However, it remains very, very popular. The Funnelholic wrote "So much is written about B2B demand generation, but this white paper makes it simple." In fact, our ability to distill demand generation to its essence is our tagline "Demand Generation Made Simple."

We wish to thank our sponsor, Marketo, as well as the Editor of this, Jill Konrath, for making this such a great white paper. You can still download it for free - just click on the link below. (Please note that, despite the fact that it is free and Marketo sponsored it, we no longer provide data to Marketo.)

Mike Stelzner of Social Media Today in his book, Launch, says that a good white paper is like "rocket fuel" - it just keeps going and going. Mike's right. It's old but classic and still offers a lot of value.

Download and enjoy How to Find New Customers today - in English or Portuguese - with the link or image.

Everyone has a plan. Some plans are better than others because they contain all or most of the necessary steps and sequence them in an appropriate order. Most plans have gaps where steps should be and the sequence doesn't lend itself to success. One area where we see this occur repeatedly is when companies are about to hire a Sales VP or Director AND

Re: How to Stay Motivated Re: How to Stay Motivated - Staying motivated is definitely hard. Especially when things get overwhelming and there are no immediate results. This is my personal approach. 1) Use a big white dry-erase board / piece of paper. 2) Pen down everything you need to do or in the process of doing. Point forms with dates. No need for excessive details. 3) Schedule a definitive period of time to relax (i.e. for the next hour and a half) 4) Jump back to working starting with number 1 on the white board! The best way is stay motivated to be organized, re-group then jump back in!

Call attendees Call attendees - I would make sure to call them to remind them, remind them to bring business cards, ask them to make sure to introduce themselves to the instructor and basically just tell them you'll be happy to meet them. A personal touch will go a long way. A second thought would be to offer something for sale, at a great price that they can only get by purchasing it when they register, take the payment online and then require them to pick it up in person at the seminar. A third would be to send them a small e-book or white paper just before the presentation talking about what they will learn. I also like Evan's suggestion about asking them to list their specific issues or interests around a topic. That brings a little ownership and interactivity to the seminar.
