How I am Turning My Side Consulting Business Into a Full Time Business

Starting a business from nothing is very hard. Many motivated entrepreneurs’ fail because despite their hard work and persistence, they come short on resources and getting their business off the ground.

It is all-hard. Finding investment to start a business, finding the right products or services to sell, finding clients, finding a nice office or location if you are in retail. It is just very hard and that is while most small business fail the first few years. That is why the best way is to start a partnership with an established business in order to grow your business. And I am saying this from experience.

I have tried a couple of online businesses in the past that failed, mainly because of lack of resources or inability to get enough clients and customers going, I couldn’t get going and I had to quite.

Doing online businesses, I learned quite a bit about online marketing and SEO, so after I shut down my businesses, I got a full time job as in house SEO and also did SEO consulting on the side. Changing multiple employers, I came to realize that I am a self-employed type of guy. But I was too afraid to enter another business adventure.

One of my SEO clients, an auto dealer software company, hired me to do SEO for their one of their websites called shop for auto, and when I learned that they also make websites for their clients who are auto dealers, I asked them if they wanted to offer SEO services their clients and I pay them a cut and they gladly accepted it. Now they are reaching out to each of their clients and bringing in SEO clients, already they have given me enough client where I could resign from my full time job and do this full time. They even gave me a nice desk in their beautiful office in Irvine, California with a beautiful view.

I am not quite making as much money I was making when I worked as a senior SEO strategist but I am hoping this will be a beginning of a great successful business adventure since I have teamed up with an already established business with established clientele and vision.

I would like to find out what have been your faltering moments in Business when you had started and what/how did they help you grow. Regards
