In the last issue I promised you more prospecting catalysts. You'll remember that catalysts do nothing on their own, they just make other things work well.
The last issue's catalyst was to have everything you give or send to clients or prospects refer to everything else about your business. So your newsletter would refer to your talks, website, articles, seminars, etc. And each of those would mention all the others. So they cross-fertilize each other.
Here's another catalyst: incorporate.
The image you present is everything. The image of a company is stronger than that of an individual for many reasons. And you want to present an image of strength, and stability.
An easy way to assume this mantle is to form a company under your own name, and include it on all your written material.
So incorporate.
And don't do it for the tax advantages. Do it for the image. If you gain some other advantages, great, but the principal reason to do it is to enhance your image.
Your image brings in referrals. It's what your clients perceive you to be.
