Tips To Guide Your Work Life

1. If you are afraid, face it.
It's okay to be afraid, just never give up because of fear. Focus on the outcome, not the journey. No matter how scared you are, do the things you want to do.
2. Persistence and perseverance always win out.
You can feel lost, fail a lot, but you must never give up. Keep trying. Sooner or later your efforts will pay off.
3. Being true to yourself is what matters most.
Remain constant in your appreciation of what you love to do. Learn to love to do the things you do, and your life will forever be happy. You are as good as anyone else and, oftentimes, a whole lot better. Don't lose sight of this.
4. Choose friends that care.
Your friends should reflect a tapestry of yourself--serious, wild or intellectual. But when the going gets tough, they are always there for you.
5. Dream big.
I'm the biggest dreamer of them all and because of that, I have led myself, and others, on a wild adventure in life. If you want to have a full life, you must dream big. Refuse to settle for anything less than turning a dream into a reality.
6. Use your brain above all else.
People have a choice to think or not think. Maximize the use of your mind. It's your only source of knowledge and survival.
7. Action makes reality.
Want to change? Then take action. If you try 100 things, maybe one will go your way.
8. Laugh everyday at yourself and along with others.
Life is what you make of it and if you take it too seriously, it will be serious. Laugh when you can, help others laugh too. Lighten up. Chew some bubble gum, go rollerskating or fly a kite. You'd be surprised at the joy the simplest things in life can bring.

The Second Life Platform The Second Life Platform - Greetings! I'm not sure how many of you have heard of or are sensitive to Second Life and its related entities. However, Second Life is a fantastic platform to mimmick real life business operations in a real currency based economy. There are plenty of successful stories for creative individuals, but I'd highly suggest doing your research and appreciating Second Life for what it is, and what it isn't.

Re: Charge what you're worth Re: Charge what you're worth - [quote="Tami Szabo":292ze3jd]People will pay you what you ask. Very few will ever up the price. You are the one who decided what you are worth. The key is that we believe our services are worth the price we are asking.[/quote:292ze3jd] Hi Tami, You're absolutely right. In "Think and Grow Rich", Jessie B. Rittenhouse says "For Life is a just employer, He gives you what you ask, But once you have set the wages, Why, you must bear the task. I worked for a menial's hire Only to learn, dismayed , That any wage I had asked of Life, Life would have willingly paid" (Napoleon Hill 35). I think the same can be said when setting prices on eBay or Craigslist, especially when people are trying to haggle you.

It doesn't matter how successful you are in your business - it's always possible to learn something new. In subsequent posts I give Table of Contents and brief descriptions for various titles - most of them devoted to the businesswoman - and sometimes a review.
