"TheToronto Entrepreneur Mastermind Group has to date has been a positive experience for me and my business to be a part of. It is rare to have the opportunity to meet on a regular basis with individuals that share the same passion for building something beyond themselves. The group has given me a network to critically think about opportunities and issues providing a proactive approach to my business strategy. I appreciate being held accountable for the goals that I set in my business by the group because the end result is seeing those come to fruition quicker."

Onkar Sandhar - ChaiBerry® Massage Co.
"I really enjoy my monthly meetings with the Toronto Entrepreneur Mastermind Group. It's vital for us business owners to network & brainstorm with other executives from different industries to get a fresh perspective on what works and what doesn't in the world of business."

Simon Payn - Ready to Go Newsletters
"I have made thousands of dollars by being part of the Toronto Entrepreneur Mastermind Group. Why? Because when I go there I get great ideas followed by a swift kick to the butt to put those ideas into action. I added a major product line to my business at the start of the year after the group reinforced and prompted me to implement an idea that had been knocking around my head for months. That product will probably become 50% of my revenue in the next year. This is the great thing about meeting regularly with a group of smart business people: the members bring street-savvy advice to your business that comes from a perspective that is outside your business. To anyone walking the lonely road of entrepreneurship, that kind of input is extraordinarily valuable."

Alfredo Arias - Flash Fog Security
"My experience with the Toronto Entrepreneur Mastermind Group has been wonderful. Our business has evolved in important ways from insights discussed at a meeting. The members really complement each other, and at the end you get refined ideas that you can put to use immediately"

Dr. Anna B. Baranowsky - Traumatology Institute
"As a Clinical Psychologist, my background did not provide me with any business training. In the Toronto Entrepreneur Mastermind Group I have found a tremendous resource of people who are willing to discuss all aspects of running a business. There is such diversity among the members who range in their professions as well in the development of their businesses. So we all learn about every stage of business development and the idea generation for complex problems is an enjoyable and worthwhile exercise every time. Bravo Evan for putting together such an terrific program."

Kris Schantz - Happy Worker
“The Toronto Entrepreneur Mastermind Group is a cross between a league of entrepreneurial superheroes and a no-nonsense support group. My own strengths and weaknesses are checked by my group mates, who actively support and motivate me to meet my targets, be a better entrepreneur and a better person. Before I joined the group I was a 150-pound business weakling… now look at me! Beefcake. Beefcake!!”

Raye Ackerman - ITS Dispatch
"Since becoming involved with the Toronto Entrepreneur Mastermind Group, it has truly been an eye opening experience to see that other business owners like myself, are struggling with the same daily challenges. Our group is quite balanced and we have some members that have already dealt with many of my current issues and offer great input and advice on how to work through them. Ultimately, the group acts as a great motivator to keep me on track and accountable for financial targets and to ensure that issues that I plan on dealing with are dealt with... (No later than the next meeting!)"

Mark Drager - Phanta Media
“As an Entrepreneur, who do you turn to for advice? Family members? Friends? Ex Co-workers? In most cases they don't understand the challenges I'm facing because they haven't been there. The Toronto Entrepreneur Mastermind Group is made up of Entrepreneurs who HAVE been there – they've faced the challenges that lay ahead of me and through shared camaraderie will help me overcome them.”

Mark Arteaga - RedBit Development
"One of my biggest challenges with running a business is who do you turn to when facing a business challenge? Who do you turn to when you want advice? The best source is other entrepreneurs who are willing to share their past experiences and challenges. That's what you get at the Toronto Entrepreneur Mastermind Group. The group always has feedback on business issues and has given me the opportunity to critically think on strategies to grow my business, set goals and be accountable for those goals."

Young Presidents' Organization

Young Presidents' Organization

Ever wonder what famous successful world leaders such as Nelson Mandela, Bill Clinton, Fidel Castro and George W. Bush have in common? They are all members of an international peer network group called the Young Presidents' Organization. Established in the United States in the 1950s by Ray Hickok, Young Presidents' Organization has a membership of over 11,000 global leaders that spans over 90 countries.

The Mission of the Young Presidents' Organization is to “create better leaders through education and idea exchange.” This is exactly what they do by providing a gathering for young leaders who are current presidents of their own organizations approximately ten times per year. Meetings focus on motivational tactics, educational enlightenment, the sharing of ideas and wisdom and the overall development of each member.

With the development of an online community, the Young Presidents' Organization has propelled itself to a higher level of support that can be accessed anytime, anywhere. YPO's Member Exchange is an online database of its current and past members' experiences, stories, advice and ideas.

Becoming a member of the Young Presidents' Organization means access to elite educational programs. YPO maintains a partnership with leading academic institutions such as Stanford, Harvard and the London Business School . Each institution provides tailor-made programs specially created exclusively for members.

Meetings and educational programs are held at some of the world's most beautiful and exotic locations including the Costa Rica , the Amazon and Venice . Many of these sessions are open to spouses and families of the Young Presidents' Organization members which allow the members to bond with their families while experiencing the many benefits of the seminars and meetings.

Young Presidents' Organization not only focuses on the professional part of a member's life. There is also a very strong sense of support for the members' personal lives. Being able to share best practices, personal stories and advice with like-minded members regarding personal issues in a confidential, encouraging environment can be a great source of support for its members.

To qualify to become a member of the Young Presidents' Organization, one must be under the age of 45 and be responsible for an entire operation of a qualifying corporation/division. Prospective members must hold a title such as President, Chairman of the Board, or CEO Managing Director, Managing Partner or Publisher and employ a minimum of 50 full-time employees or hold a payroll that exceeds US$1,000,000. There are also very strict guidelines on the gross annual sales, assets or commissions earned by the corporation depending on the type of business it is, with amounts ranging from US$6,000,000 to US$160,000,000.

The reputation earned by Young Presidents' Organization over the last five decades has been hard earned. Although the criteria and fees for membership restricts most from joining, the few who can afford to join and do qualify will find the benefits of the organization bountiful and ever-increasing. For those who cannot qualify for this type of organization there are many other more affordable, accessible alternatives. Mastermind groups can offer the same type of challenge, knowledge sharing and support at a much lower cost and with fewer criteria limitations.
