Personal Finance Advice
John Campbell is an economics professor at Harvard University who recently published a study that has some telling advice; what it tells us is that the less you know about your financial situation, the worse off you’ll be. Sure, industry advisors have been telling us this for years, but now there’s a Harvard study to back it up. Whether you handle your money on your own, or you seek out personal finance advice from an expert, the more uninformed you are, the more you’re going to wind up paying without realizing it.
Online Personal Finance
Interested in finding a free training workshop for new entrepreneurs? You can find it online. Want to be able to pay your taxes without having to ever change out of your pajamas? Now you can, all with the help of a handy little tool my grandfather likes to call the Interweb. From paying your taxes, to paying your bills, to finding an insurance broker, the world of online personal finance just keeps getting bigger. But, how much do you really know about the virtual reality that is the Internet? Just how secure is it and how can you learn to best protect yourself and your business from the online threats that can arise on a daily basis?
Personal Finance Planning
It doesn’t matter whether you’re a billionaire living in the Swiss Alps or a grocer living in the Bronx, everybody everywhere needs to be aware of and take an active role in their own money management. One day, you could gain or lose it all, and unless you’re properly prepared, you could lose it all again. Personal finance looks at how individuals and families acquire, budget, save and spend their money over time. Personal finance planning is the regular monitoring and evaluating of that process to make sure you and your loved ones are staying on track.
Personal Finance Management
It may not be something that is taught in school, but personal finance management is one of the most important subjects for young entrepreneurs to master – and, the sooner the better. You’ve always been taught to dream big, but what happens once you achieve those dreams? What do you do with the money you’ve made? Or, if you’re not quite there yet, how can you stay out of financial trouble until you reach your dreams?
Tesco Personal Finance
In 1997, the UK’s largest supermarket, Tesco, decided to join forces with the Royal Bank of Scotland, the fifth largest bank in the world. Together, in a fifty-fifty joint venture, Tesco Personal Finance was formed. Since its initial launch those few years ago, it has grown to become the UK’s most successful supermarket bank, with over five million customer accounts, 22 financial products for sale, and more than ₤130 million in annual profits. A unique initiative, Tesco has had a number of industry firsts that stand behind its impressive rise to the top.
Personal Finance Budgeting
People often think that personal finance budgeting is something scary, something that needs to be approached with fear and dread. But, fear no more! Whether you are currently in debt, or on track but just can’t seem to find the money for the things you really need – note, I said need, not want – there is one simple step to getting rid of all your troubles. No, I’m not talking about throwing your budget out the window. What you really need to do is examine where your current income is going.
Kiplinger’s Personal Finance
Kiplinger’s Personal Finance was one of the first, and remains one of the foremost personal financial magazines in the U.S. First founded by W.M. Kiplinger as The Kiplinger Magazine, a new issue has been published every month since 1947. Its mission is to provide “sound, unbiased advice in clear, concise language” on everything from paying for college to buying your first house to retiring with financial security.
Best Personal Finance
I’ve seen somebody at the top that lost it all, and I’ve seen someone who started with nothing and soared. What was the difference between the two? Why did one succeed while the other failed miserably? It might be hard to imagine, but what it all came down to was how they managed their money. Many of these may seem obvious to you, but here are some of the best personal finance tips that I have collected over the years.
Personal Finance Loans
Having to borrow money is a scary thought for anyone. Nobody likes to admit they need the help or to be in debt to someone else. But, often times, we are left with no choice. Maybe your daughter is getting married and the price tag of her wedding is near the $30,000 mark. Or, maybe you couldn’t get a secured loan and you need to consolidate your debt. Whatever the reason, before you submit your application, there are a number of things you need to keep in mind.
Personal Finance Budget
Some people hate them. Some people love them so much they say having one has even helped their sex life! Well, I wouldn’t go that far, but budgeting is one of those necessary evils that we all need to come to grips with. The price of not having a sound personal finance budget will always and everywhere far outweigh whatever stress you experience from making one.
