A Legitimate Home Based Business Opportunity - How to Attract Prospects (Step 2)
In previous articles, I have discussed how to select a niche market in order to find customers for your products and services. I've also talked about how important it is to know what you are actually selling. In my last article emphasis was placed on how to narrow down your target market in order to attract the right prospect to a legitimate home based business opportunity.
Today, I will address two questions that must be answered. The answer to these questions is the key to attracting prospects to your business.
1. What are the needs of your target market? What problems do they have that need to be solved?
2. What are they thinking about? What interests do they have? What are they searching for on the internet?
By providing your market with this information, you will not be like most network marketers who are chasing after their prospects trying to get them to buy something from you. Instead, you are attracting them to you because you are giving them information they are looking for.
Today, one of the target markets addressed in the last article will be emphasized - those people who know they need an internet marketing business because they have been in one in the past.
They may not be in a network marketing company today because their prior experience didn't work out.
So what is this market thinking about? What are their concerns? What keeps them up at night? What are their interests? What are they searching for? Why are they looking for a business?
Since you are attracting prospects to your business opportunity, your ideal prospect is searching for things related to network marketing and those things that can be of value to them.
1. A lead system, a marketing tool, a book, or some other resource. They could be looking for a specific tool or book or something in general.
2. A specific author of a book related to internet and network marketing
3. A good source for online internet marketing training - specific or general.
4. Specific topics such as "how to attract leads online for free."
5. An internet marketing coach. This could be a specific person or the general phrase.
This list is just the beginning. There are so many other possibilities.
So how do you determine what book, or what marketing tool, or what topic an internet marketing prospect is looking for?
One thing you can do is to go to Google and search for a term such as "network marketing." There is a ton of information there. You can then use that information to zero in on more specific information such as a specific book, an internet marketing guru, an online training system.
It doesn't matter if you are brand new in this business. The more research you do, the more knowledge you will obtain. You will know more than most people out there.
It doesn't matter if the prospects are already in a home business opportunity.
They many not be happy with their present circumstances. They may be struggling. They may be looking for a truly legitimate business.
They may not like the marketing methods used by their present company. Old, traditional marketing methods are not effective for most people.
Once you have knowledge from your research, you can put some of this information on the internet through articles, videos, or comments on blogs, forums, etc.
You can sign up for some good online training. You can write about things you are learning in this training.
But always keep this in mind. What you are putting on the internet should answer your target market's questions. It should help solve their problems.
It is very important that you join a legitimate home based business opportunity - a business you can be proud of. In my next article, there will be further discussion of target markets and how you can attract prospects to your business.
