Someday Isle

All of us had wonderful dreams, goals, and plans when we were teenagers or young adults. But at some point, this thing we call reality set in, and we let our dreams and goals slip further and further back into our minds. We actually ship all of our dreams and goals to a mythical place I call "Someday Isle."

"Someday Isle" is a picture postcard kind of place where the weather is always perfect and everything is always wonderful, except nothing ever happens. And now, every time we think of those long-forgotten dreams and goals, we say to ourselves, "Someday, I'll do this; and someday, I'll do that." But someday never comes.

General George Patton said that a good plan violently executed today is better than a perfect plan next week. This applies to each of us as we go through our lives. Please remember that the biggest dream you ever had in your life is still alive and well. It will return to you from "Someday Isle" as soon as you move it as a priority into your present day life.

Your destiny is too wonderful to delay any longer. Make the commitment; take the steps; pay the price.

Today is the day!

Hi everyone! Hi everyone! - Hi everyone! I'm a freelance Flash Developer and Website Designer. I'm working on developing an internet venture. Someday, I hope to start developing more mobile applications. I have one completed already and is on the marketplace.
Three Legged Handyman - Help or Hindrance? Three Legged Handyman - Help or Hindrance? - Hello, My husband is starting a handyman business and he's chosen the name "Three Legged Handyman". Now most peoples reaction to this is "What does that mean?" with a smirk. My husband is from the Isle of Man where the national flag is a picture of three legs and to the Manx people it means "Which ever way you shall throw me, I shall stand." He is now questioning this name as everyone he tells always has an initial reaction that it implies something else. He is seriously considering changing the name, after already having business cards, flyers & shirts made up. What's great about this name, besides the fact that it's part of my husbands heritage and he's a very proud Manx man, is that people remember it and it does make people smile (in an odd sort of way). So my question is do you think a name like this will help or hinder his business?
