Executive Coaching and It's Value

Leadership through Priority Management – Not Time Management - By David Liddell

Executive Coaching can be the key to success and failure. It doesn’t matter if you’re in a product or service oriented business, executive coaching and its value is tremendous; not only to you but to your business as well. Consider this. Those professionals who hire an executive coach are often able to become more successful at a faster rate than those that don’t. This is because they are more focused in their pursuits and are able to work closely with someone who can see the “entire picture” and help them craft a workable and achievable plan.
Consider these two scenarios. Mary was a business owner that saw the value in hiring an executive coach. She paid 5000 for 10 coaching services. As a result, she was able to work with someone one on one and developed a six figure income in under a year simply because she was willing to make an initial investment into herself and her business. On the other hand, Tom was a business owner that didn’t see the value in hiring an executive coach. Instead he spent his 5000 on courses, books, trying out different business models and other schemes. The result? He not only lost money but his business went belly under within one year. This was because he didn’t have a solid plan and didn’t know where to go.
Although it may seem like a big investment to begin with, a wise business person will see the bigger picture and the benefits that will happen in the long run. Without the proper experience and guidance that an executive coach can bring to the table, many businesses will jump headlong into a system or place without the proper structure and methods. This can be extremely dangerous for a new, fragile business or even a struggling older business. Executive coaching can provide you with the needed structure, technique and methods to help you with success. A coach can provide you with the full benefit of his or her experience and guide you toward the proper way to handle situations. This results in a more successful, well adjusted business.
In conclusion, executive coaching can be the difference between succeeding and failing in business. It doesn’t matter if you own a service or product oriented business. Either one of these types of businesses can greatly benefit from the knowledge and experience of an executive coach. Hiring an executive coach has intrinsic value and will serve to make the business greater.
