How Layout Affects Productivity
How Layout Affects Productivity
To be successful, you must be like Company B. You must understood and lay out your corporate goals in a logical manner. You must understand the value of taking your time and allow the progression of ideas to flow smoothly. In addition, you must be willing to make internal structural changes to maximize productivity and success. In addition, you must be willing to interlock departments and be open to structural changes. After all, you don’t want employees spending a lot of time, effort, communication, movement and other activity “wasted” by virtue of a poor layout. Therefore, you should also be willing to restructure departments to maximize effectiveness.
In conclusion, layout effects productivity in many ways. The key to making it work for you is to plan ahead and be open to change. By doing this, you’ll surely succeed like Company B and won’t find yourself on the brinks of financial ruin from failure to take a more logical route.

If you truly want your productivity efforts to be enhanced, you must plan ahead. This includes properly understanding and laying out your companies objectives in plain sight. It also means having a realistic implementation plan. For instance, let’s consider Company A and Company B. Company A is a fly-by-night company who doesn’t believe in planning ahead. They just market new businesses without doing any market research. If they think a product will sell, they simply market it and hope for the best. In contrast, Company B takes their time and effort and only markets products with specific criteria. To come to this decision, Company B encourages group input in increasing their productivity during marketing and reward their employees for taking an active and creative marketing approach. Company B understand that one person or groups’ output is another’s input and pride themselves on having a strong network of interlocking inputs and outputs. The result? Company A goes bankrupt in 1 year whereas Company B exceeds their corporate goals by 1 million.
