Team Work

Team work is the real backbone of any productive corporation or company. The employees or the staff within a company are similar to the working pieces of a machine. If each and every piece of the machine is working properly and efficiently together, the machine will run perfectly. However, if just one piece stops working or works slowly, the whole machine will run poorly or shut down. This is how teamwork is important within a company or corporation. When each and every team member learns to work together efficiently, the machine of the company will work and be successful.

Think of the team members who work together on a project. You have different team members for each aspect of the project. Perhaps the team is making a video. If the graphics, photography and writing crew get everything finished perfectly, but the sound crew does not, you will have a perfectly working video with no sound. Your customers or other team members will not understand a video with no sound. This will create a delay in production, which will lead to less views, sales and profits. This is why the team must be able to communicate and work together in order to create a finished project that is great all around.

Without teamwork, a company will not be successful and the company will not thrive. It is up to each individual team member to work together in order to produce a great project, to effectively help a corporation or business thrive and to make better profits for the company in a more efficient way. This is why so many different business leaders and owners are investing in team work games, exercises and lessons for their employees. They are realizing now more than ever the benefits to these sorts of investments. Not only does this help the employees have a better work atmosphere with people that they have bonded with and like being around, but it creates an entire list of benefits. Employees are easier to retain, the company is more efficient and productive, conflict is down and the company thrives!

There are many different ways to reward teamwork, to promote teamwork within the company and to experience the benefits of teamwork. A leader who is able to integrate the importance of teamwork into his company and into his staff and team is a winning leader all around.

Re: Anyone Uses Elance.com? Guru.com? Rentacoder.com? Re: Anyone Uses Elance.com? Guru.com? Rentacoder.com? - I've had quite a bit of success on oDesk.com. I've never used Elance so I can't compare. I like oDesk.com 'cos I get to sort thru people (e.g. within a certain bid range) with a single click. I find their help response very quick and I like the oDesk Team software that "providers" must install. This gives me the Buyer more insight as to what I am paying for. The Team software takes screenshots of the Providers screen on 10 min increments so I can see that the person is infact doing work for me.
Private Venture Capital Consortiums and Funding Syndicates Private Venture Capital Consortiums and Funding Syndicates - From the posts in this forum (all threads) it is very clear that funding is in high demand and many entrepreneurs are unsuccessful in sourcing, not to mention secure, private international venture capital. There are about 6000 international associations linked to venture capital around the globe and they all make their presence noticed on the internet. For most entrepreneurs this will sound very attractive, and it should be, but many unfortunately will stare disappointment in the face at the start of their endevours. The international success rate for venture capital finance / funding in start up projects is an unbelieveable low 2% - 5% maximum. Most venture capitalist linked with associations will require some sort of surity or guarantee of up to 50% of the investment. The entrepreneur will then have to pay fees up front before a cent has been invested, not to mention broker / consultant commissions of up to 12% of the total value of the project. Why is the success rate so low (2% - 5%)? - 1. Business Plan - poor preparation and insufficient information. Every entrepreneur will explain how big a specific market is in potential profits but they all lack the basic important factor every investor wants to see and that is How and What are you going to do to capture 10% of that market sector. Stop telling every investor that you "want" to capture 10%, tell them how you will go about doing so. 2. Management Team - How can anyone expect from an investor to invest in a company with poor management. How about investing $5 million in a one man operation - where is the security for the venture capitalist. Be realistic, put yourself in the position of the investor, argue the facts and then approach an investor if you are able to convince them of your project or business. 3. Project - If your project or business (products or service) is not unique or cheaper venture capitalists will not invest - final. If it is existing technologies, products or services improve them or make them cheaper. Entrepreneurs should always research venture capitalist befire approaching them - it is the difference between success anf failure Always Remember - Plan Your Work, Work Your Plan. ----------------
