Group Scheduling - What A Pain! But it does not have to be anymore

Unless you work in an organization that has Outlook or Lotus Notes or another similar group scheduling tool, you have probably experienced the same thing that I have when trying to coordinate a meeting with a group of busy professionals.

It can be like HERDING CATS! One email after another rotates through my in-box as we try to figure out a date and time that will work.

Today I am excited to say, I have found a tool that will help!

When is Good?

This is the question that you ask when you try to coordinate emails with a group. Now, rather than a huge stringed mess, you can use http://whenisgood.net/. When I learned about the site, I tried it and it is great! Here is what the owners have to say about it:

An easy way to find out when everyone is free for your next meeting or event.

1. Click the grid for all the times that are good for you - you get a link to email to your invitees.

2. They see your proposed times and click on when they are free.

3. You visit your results page and see when everyone can do.

No sign-up form. No password to choose. No fuss at all.

The company that created this online tool is family-owned and based in London, UK. They launched the tool in November 2007 and is F..R..E..E..!

They appreciate feedback as they grow the capabilities of the tool. They note that the base service will remain no-cost and they will add premium features sometimes this summer.

Check it out and let me know how it works for you.

Big Thanks!

A big thanks to @keithelder for the great tweet on this tool.

What do you do?

What do you do to manage the various schedules of people you are trying to coordinate?

Do you think this tool will help? Share your thoughts! I'd love to hear from you.

To your success!
Steph

Re: What works for you? Re: What works for you? - If you love your work, then there is no pressure. So, pressure builds up when you work for someone else. Actually, Pleasure and Pain are both side of one coin. You need to have both in order to succeed in life. Take risks and rewards are higher. Take less risks, the rewards are less. So, understand your capacity and take charge. Thanks, Robert
BNI Groups - do they work? BNI Groups - do they work? - Hi Lesley, From the members in my Mastermind Group I've heard a number of positive and negative things about BNI Groups. Just like a Mastermind Group, it all depends on who the people are. If the personalities fit and the members can add value to your business it can be worth checking out. The best bet is to go to a meeting as a guest to get a sense of who is in the group and if it is for you. It doesn't cost you anything except a little extra sleep the morning of. Good luck!
Re: On Which Social Media Sites Are You Most Active? Re: On Which Social Media Sites Are You Most Active? - I must respectfully disagree completely with that premise Evan. When speaking of a "Small Group", we are talking abotu a "Mastermind Group". As we all know, such a group is instrumental to success, online or off. The groups can grow quite large too. My group currently has 35 members, but several are actively participating and sharing content.

Re: Twitter account Re: Twitter account - I've never totally abandoned mine but I don't get on there much anymore so I guess I have neglected it.
