I Need More Time: Better Coaching Techniques For a Bigger Impact

Those of us who have taken up coaching as a career do so because of a desire to have impact on people - to make a difference. Every professional coach knows that significant change takes time and, unfortunately, time is a resource that is becoming more precious every day. This was poignantly reflected in a recent one-question survey we conducted. We asked coaches to respond to the following question: "What's your biggest challenge in achieving the level of impact you want for your clients?"

The number one response? "I need more time with my clients to have impact in their lives." This response was voiced in different ways, "clients can't stop long enough to change," or "clients are in such a hurry for results that they won't stay focused," and "clients don't stay long enough to benefit from our work." No matter how it was said, the bottom line is time!

The truth is we all get the same 24 hours every day. No more and no less. People find the time for things they really want to do. So the challenge of getting more time to have impact on our clients will not be solved by bemoaning the reality of our fast paced society, but by applying coaching techniques that get our clients excited about coaching.

Bottom line is, clients will make the time for coaching when they find it interesting. And clients find coaching interesting when it is about them. Everyone wants to feel special, and the best way to make someone feel special is to provide them with an experience that allows them to feel that their unique qualities are understood. Fortunately, providing such an experience of understanding is also what coaches need in order to develop the bond of trust that is necessary to make the kind of impact they want to make in their clients' lives.

The kind of "wow" description that will hook a client in such a way that they stay involved long enough for the coach to have impact must be provided quickly. To be fast and accurate, you cannot rely on a casual process or informal assessment. You must use a formal assessment and preferably one that has been specifically created for coaching.

So the solution to getting more time from your clients so you can have the level of impact you really want? Try these three coaching tools and techniques:

The realities of today's coaching environment dictate that more often than not our clients are going to be pressed for time. If we want to help our clients change we must use coaching tools that help us connect with our clients quickly and hold their interest. By using formal assessments created especially for coaches, we can effectively set up a clear path for maximum impact in our client's lives.

Re: Bad SEO techniques? Re: Bad SEO techniques? - There are few more techniques which also known as the Bad SEO Techniques or Black Hat SEO Techniques. Such as: - Relying on keyword metatags - Purchase Links (From Spamming or blacklisted sites or doing purchase links on high level for site marketing) - Horde Page Rank: This is one of my favorites, because it's one that most webmasters don't understand yet. This is because it changed over the past year or two. The concept people have in their mind is that page rank is a key part of site rankings and linking to other sites "leaks page rank" from your site. However, the world has changed. - Swap Links: Another oldie, but not goodie. Search engines want links to represent endorsements. Swapped links represent barter, and they are trivial to detect. Don't swap links for the purpose of building page rank. It's a waste of your time - Implement duplicate content - Use Session IDs on your URLs - Use lots of Javascript - Implement your site in Flash

I have one question, though. How would one implement Session IDs for a URL, and what benefit would come from doing so?
Social IMPACT!! Marketing - How it will change your Business Social IMPACT!! Marketing - How it will change your Business - SEO,SEM and more recently SMO have been the catch phrase for those wishing to optimize their sites for the search engines and all will see you gain some level of success, but I am about to introduce you to a new catch phrase SIM or Social Impact Marketing, a system that has been developed at Kooiii tested on Kooiii and proven to be more effective than any of the other 3 systems in use. When we started Kooiii 6 or so weeks ago we were building a site that had nothing as far as SEO,SEM or SMO properties it was lost way back in the depths of most search engines and had an Alexa rating of 3.8 million, it was lucky to get 12 visitors a week and that was mostly my business partner and myself with the odd visitor that somehow found their way to the site by mistake. Our original idea was to build Kooiii as a Search Platform that was capable of spidering some of the most popular social networks, however we realized early on that those coming to Kooiii would also want some form of social interaction with our site if it was going to go anywhere so we implemented a simple to use Micro-Blogging system as the front end of the system we were putting together. Not having money to promote our new baby we had to resort to using all the free avenues we could find in order to attract people to the site, of course this meant utilizing as many of the social networks we belonged to as possible, Not being spammers and not wishing to appear as such we decided that we would simply keep active on the social networks while sharing and posting to our profiles from kooiii, it was at this point we realized we were onto something suddenly within a week we saw our Alexa drop dramatically and our membership start to grow not only on Kooiii but also on the social sites we belonged to, people seemed to be drawn to us like we were magnets and Kooiii went from 4 members (all admins) to over 1500 members quickly. By teaching those that joined Kooiii to also share member posts on the social networks, not only those we were posting but other members posts as well we saw the birth of a completely new way to promote something, see everyone saw the same effects we were seeing not only was Kooiii skyrocketing up Alexa but the members sites and popularity were also soaring and so Social Impact Marketing came into the world of the Internet. So lets re-cap SIM it's a system where members of Kooiii cross promote each others offers using a socially connected Micro-Blogging system creating tremendous buzz about the offers throughout the wider social scene in other words causing Social Impact using Marketing techniques resulting in massive targeted traffic generation to a specific site or page for basically no monitory outlay.
