Create the Rest of Your Life in 7 Free & Easy Steps

Imagine being able to do what you want to do for the rest of your life! Is this just a pipe-dream, or could you make it a reality? Life is far too short to allow it to pass you by without following your own heart and passions. You can certainly make it happen if you genuinely want it to happen! Here are my 7 steps to help you on the road to the life of your dreams.

1) Give yourself the gift of a minimum of 2 hours on your own. Ensure that you are able to have absolute peace and quiet so that you can let your thoughts flow freely. This is the most critical step in the process.

2) Get hold of a pen and notebook to write down various impressions and thoughts that come to you as you go through these steps. If you fail to take note of your ideas, you will find that they will soon be forgotten and may be lost forever.

3) Sit back, relax, close your eyes, and imagine the ideal day you would have in your ideal life. Because this is your dream life, forget about obstacles or anything else that would stop you from doing what you want to do. Where in the World would you wake up, who would you be with, what activities would you pursue? For instance, if your perfect day begins by drinking orange juice on a beach in the Bahamas, there is no reason why you wouldn't find yourself writing a chapter of your book in the morning in London, spend the afternoon going round the Louvre in Paris, and then attending a Broadway show that evening in New York. Of course, you may want to spend your ideal day in one special place. But the important thing is to let your imagination run loose, and think of the things that you want to do in that day.

4) Write down the events of your day in chronological order as if it was an entry in your diary. Be as specific as you can about where you are, what you are doing, how you are feeling, and how you look.

5) Read through this again, and think about what you have written in greater depth. Look at the activities that made up your day. Are these the interests that you are really passionate about? If they are, now is the time to make this actually happen!

6) For instance, if part of your ideal day involves writing a novel, what can you do right now to realize this dream? What subject would you write about and how much time would you devote each week to writing it? When do you plan to have your book finished? Write down your goal, making sure that you have been specific about the subject of your book, how much time you will devote to writing, and the target date for completion.

7) Imagine that you have now completed your masterpiece and it has been published. What does success feel like to you? Visualize yourself being invited to book signings and appearing on TV to promote your book. Watch as your novel climbs the best-seller list. Live and re-live your ideal day to imprint your success into your subconscious. Once you have this dream safely and securely lodged in your mind, your subconscious will do everything in its power to make sure this dream actually happens!!

Imagination, visualisation and your subconscious mind are so powerful in helping you achieve your dreams. Make full use of these to live your ideal life!

Re: e-Commerce and e-Payment providers Re: e-Commerce and e-Payment providers - When I came back to Japan in 1999 I sometimes used to ask my students if they would buy anything on the Internet and at that time most thought it was too risky. I'd encourage them to try by using well known sites such as Amazon.co.jp and also pointed out that using a credit card on a reputable site was safer than using it at a restaurant. I can't remember the last time I had that discussion or when the "tipping point" occurred in Japan. To answer your other question, I use Paypal for several reasons: 1. Brand familiarity 2. Easy to use 3. Free to withdraw 50,000yen+ to my Japanese bank account - a huge benefit (but maybe other systems also offer that...?) 4. Easy to cancel subscriptions On the down side, their transaction fees are quite costly, they are difficult to contact and when disputes arise you can sometimes lose even when you can prove via your tracking service that the disputed item was "delivered" to the customer's address!
The Second Life Platform The Second Life Platform - Greetings! I'm not sure how many of you have heard of or are sensitive to Second Life and its related entities. However, Second Life is a fantastic platform to mimmick real life business operations in a real currency based economy. There are plenty of successful stories for creative individuals, but I'd highly suggest doing your research and appreciating Second Life for what it is, and what it isn't.

Re: Charge what you're worth Re: Charge what you're worth - [quote="Tami Szabo":292ze3jd]People will pay you what you ask. Very few will ever up the price. You are the one who decided what you are worth. The key is that we believe our services are worth the price we are asking.[/quote:292ze3jd] Hi Tami, You're absolutely right. In "Think and Grow Rich", Jessie B. Rittenhouse says "For Life is a just employer, He gives you what you ask, But once you have set the wages, Why, you must bear the task. I worked for a menial's hire Only to learn, dismayed , That any wage I had asked of Life, Life would have willingly paid" (Napoleon Hill 35). I think the same can be said when setting prices on eBay or Craigslist, especially when people are trying to haggle you.
