Automating Tweets for the Busy Small Business Owner

Using Social Oomph To Automate Text Tagged Article', 'Click', 'Small Business']);"> Small Business Owner's Tweets Many small business owners simply do not have much time to spend on Social Media, and SocialOomph is a great way to automatically load Tweets in Advance. It is a Tweet scheduler, as long as you Text Tagged Article', 'Click', 'change']);"> change the Tweets a bit each time.

You cannot load the same Tweet over and over again on SocialOomph. Not only does repeatedly using the same Tweet violate Twitter's Terms of Service, but it also is considered spam by many users who will either quickly unfollow, or stop opening your links.

I recommend that any Tweeter have a blog. And that blog should not focus solely on selling your product, but should have general interest stories, a positive message, and content which establishes you as an expert in your industry. Spend 15 minutes on a blog each week, and your Twitter experience using Social Oomph will make sense.

Scheduling Tweets is easy on Social Oomph, and I will cover exactly how to do that here on Evan Carmichael called "Scheduling Tweets on Social Oomph"

EndUsers on Twitter tend NOT to open Direct Messages ( Called DM's ) but Social Oomph will ask you if you want to set up a standardized DM for everyone that follows you. I don't use it, but you might get the occasional hit from it. I think this feature works well to drive traffic to a Facebook Landing Page, since everyone has a FB page.

Social Oomph does some things well, and prescheduling tweets in advance, takes about 20 minutes of your day. Remember, Text Tagged Article', 'Click', 'social media']);"> social media is a long term commitment and any Text Tagged Article', 'Click', 'efficiency']);"> efficiency habits that you employ early will greatly enhance your overall experience. We lose business by default when we give up on social media, and when we don't participate.

Re: WP Tweet Button doesn't count Re: WP Tweet Button doesn't count - GT and Trent, I've heard the same thing from others. Not sure if it's a programming problem or what, but for whatever reason the button doesn't accurately show the number of Tweets. I believe it's like this for everyone. I still use the TweetMeme plug-in which seems to show an accurate number of Tweets, so I'll continue to use it until Twitter works the bugs out of their button.
Job titles Job titles - [quote:3shpwvxj]In fact, I've had friends tell me that "Founder" is better than "Owner" since it's less possessive.[/quote:3shpwvxj] For myself, I don't care for the term "Founder" [i:3shpwvxj]because [/i:3shpwvxj]it's not possessive. You can be the founder of a company and have sold it - so it no longer belongs to you. However, if you call yourself "Owner" - people know the company is still in your hands. But I don't like Owner, either. I'd prefer President or Director, because one can be an absentee owner, whereas if one is a President or Director, people assume you're involved in the day to day activities. Manager, on the other hand, wouldn't work if its your business, because (to me, anyway) that implies that you "manage" for someone else - like at a restaurant.
