Before You Dismiss Twitter
Twitter like any Social Media site creates Text Tagged Article', 'Click', 'networking']);"> networking value, well beyond immediate
transactional ROI. As Text Tagged Article', 'Click', 'efficiency']);"> efficiency tool, it cannot be beat. Here are some reasons you might
wish to stick with Twitter and realize it's full potential. Could hundreds of millions
be wrong?
Tip 1. Don't let anyone tell you Twitter doesn't get results. You can follow a large
number of people daily, who can "follow" you back. This is the simplest form of network
connectivity at your disposal.
Tip 2. Before jumping into Twitter for your business, explore, and use it as efficiency
tool for your personal use. Follow people who interest you, tweet 5 times per day, and learn
how to structure a Tweet, protocol, manners and trends. Run feeds to LinkedIn and FB.
Tip 3. Have a plan for Twitter. Run a Marketing Proposal across your own desk, and
work on it, so you know what it entails. Some of the answers will be unknown to you;
but the process of writing a Marketing Proposal also opens your perception to efficient returns.
Tip 4. Social Media is not a "campaign" which if it fails, you try another. On the ever
changing Internet, the lack of Text Tagged Article', 'Click', 'social media']);"> social media presence means you lose business to your competitor
by default, regardless of the business you are in. We must use social media, or fall behind.
Tip 5. Managing your online profile is mandatory in the modern business world, as we have
an Internet imprint already, whether we realize it or not. We must manage the process, and
not leave it to the "geeks" or others who are not especially trained as marketers.
Tip 6. Managing your Online Image, and Participating in Social Media means that you have
to have some marketing skills whether you are a doctor, lawyer, schoolteacher, or stay at
home mom. Determine efficient, time saving Tips that broaden your online imprint.
Tip 7. Learn from someone who is not necessarily the best writer, or the has the most
followers, but from a person who has marketing, sales, advertising and copywriting skills.
Don't be afraid to ask someone for free tips, and commit yourself to 1/2 hour a day.
