Karen Morath founded M Power in 2001 to work with clients - individuals and organisations - to identify and fulfil their needs. She is a consultant, writer, academic and speaker who will add author to the list when her first book is published later this year. Since beginning her career in 1983 (still looking for anyone who will believe she was eight years old at the time) she has consulted to the senior management of major organisations throughout Australia. Karen has a bachelor's degree in journalism and politics and a master's degree in communication as well as qualifications in management and public relations. She is also a sessional academic who has lectured at most of the universities in Victoria. Trying to create her own 'la dolce vita', she is learning to speak Italian and doing everything in her power to live by her credo that 'life can't be all palm trees and margaritas but there are worse game plans'.
