Re: What would you like to see be invented? - I don't know why, but when I saw this thread I immediately thought of that Huey Lewis song, I want A New Drug. I want a new drug One that wont make me sick One that wont make me crash my car Or make me feel three feet thick I want a new drug One that wont hurt my head One that wont make my mouth too dry Or make my eyes too red Also, this new drug should not have worse side effects than the reason I have for taking it!! Depends on Products Depends on Products - It depends on kinda products, for mass marketing you surely need big advertising budgets, alternately there are businesses who do not want to advertise at all, as they take limited work, they target the class not the mass. so its either ways. for sure customer bears for the advertising cost. But also without advertising those products wont sell so much.
Best banks for business loans? Best banks for business loans? - Just as there are "chain banks" -- like Suntrust, where I bank here in VA, and which has at leat five banks here in the Tidewater area alone -- there are "stand alone banks." (Don't know if that's the proper technical term!) Banks that are small and have only one location or two at the most in any big city. "Local" banks rather than "national" banks, I guess. I would trust a national bank more than a local bank... I'd assume the smaller banks would be able to go bankrupt easier. (Although considering what has happened to Bear Stearns, who knows where the "little guy" can put there money and have it be safe!)
Re: How do you make the most of your day? Re: How do you make the most of your day? - Hi Cheryl , You gave some good tips here, I recommend trying them, because I tried them myself. It didn't work for me, Why? because when the timer go off, I tell to myself, just one second, i need to finish this or that, and than I take he break, and one second turns to on minute and 15 minutes. Or the other way, 10 minutes break can turn into 1 hour break. My luck (or not) I only have 2 hours to work online, so i squeeze my tasks to 2 hrs and that's it. I work with google calendar these days, schedule the daily tasks and create tasks for the unusual ones, and when i am done, I mark them. If I didn't get to some tasks I move them to the next day.
