Let Consumers Sample Your Brand - e-Sampling For Retail

Guest post by: John Clark

Article Overview: E-sampling can be a great way to promote your business. By setting up a micro-site or page that focuses on your product, you will be sure to get the views you need to promote that particular product. When e-sampling, remember to include a coupon for use on the product after you have sent the sample. This will not only incentivize the product, but it will allow your potential consumers to know that your product is of value. Make the directions clear on how they will receive the sample and what the sample will include.

Let Consumers Sample Your Brand - e-Sampling For Retail

E-sampling can be a great way to promote your business. When formulating the plan for the e-sampler micro-site, make sure that they can view the product and can later easily identify it on the shelves, if applicable. The coupon may be a printed email or it could be included in the package that contains the sample that will be sent to them. Create the micro-site on a well-known domain and make sure that the link is easy to find on the homepage as they will click on it if you use a nice graphic or entice them with a coupon offer. Allowing consumers to sample your brand and do so by ordering the sample online presents no risk for them but potential repeat customers for you.

Unless customers are aware of your product already, e-sampling is one of the best ways to introduce your product. It is a perfect marketing strategy for new products and most people love free stuff so set up the e-sampling micro-site with your potential customers in mind. Using nice photos as well as thorough descriptions can make all the difference in the world to the potential clients and the way you represent your company as well.
