Offering Free Samples On Facebook For Retail

What better way for companies and individuals to advertise than on Facebook? Facebook is one of the hottest social networks around and most of America is on it. If you own a business, Facebook is the easiest way to advertise what you sell. Instead of spending tons of money on billboards and fliers that may get thrown in the trash, why not get a free Facebook account and display all of your company information on it? You can list the phone number, hours of business and what you sell. You can even have fans of your company! Once a company has joined Facebook they can promote their business to the thousands of people who are online. Companies can easily offer coupons on their Facebook page. All they have to do is post a link to a coupon to be printed off or post the actual coupon on the Facebook page. People who are interested in the company can become a fan and print the coupon off. It gives the company new business and saves the customer money. Facebook is one of the best ways to advertise!

Another way to get business into your company is by offering free samples. Companies only offer free samples if you become a fan of their Facebook page. The companies will either list samples on the Facebook page that people can get during certain times of the day or they can give free samples to a certain number of people who like a status that is posted. Customers will get a free sample by mail or they can take a coupon to the company and pick up the free sample. Both the business and customer win because the customer gets something for free, and the company gets new people in their store. Facebook allows companies to promote what they sell by offering free merchandise and coupons to those who are interested.

Re: Email Marketing, Permission Based Re: Email Marketing, Permission Based - [quote="topeyinka":c0jwwo97]Thanks for this great informative post. I agreed with you on "email marketing" as one of the best internet marketing. And using double - opt -in will definitely help in email marketing. If we keep looking at the way spammers do send mail, one may say that days of "email marketing" are numbered but with double opt in, I think "email marketing" will still continue to work. Cheers![/quote:c0jwwo97] Offering a strategic mailing system and high quality content is much more important to me than a double opt in option. Offering something of value and not overloading your mailings is a long term plan to use email marketing effectively. A double opt in is over in the beginning - nothing long term and ongoing. I'd prefer opting in once and give me the option to opt out if the content isn't good enough. Shri
Re: Social media question Re: Social media question - Facebook is where I get all my traffic. Facebook is great, because you can create fan pages and your customers come to you. Twitter is good, but I just don't see the same results. I think Facebook is the most popular and it's easier for people to find what they're looking for.
Re: Facebook Advertising? Re: Facebook Advertising? - Facebook has more than 700 million active users and half of them log in on a daily basis. Through Facebook advertising, you can be sure to reach any particular segment. Conventional advertising models are expensive and difficult to reach a narrow target. Facebook advertising is one option that can get you results and target specific user groups. You may be the local beauty parlor, restaurant or a Fortune 500 organization, but eBizUniverse will show how to build your brand equity through Facebook advertising. Consider these ideal scenarios: You own a restaurant and wish to target those who are recently engaged to be married for their catering business. All you need to do is to find the women with the relationship status of “engaged” on Facebook and you have your desired segment with Facebook Ads. (See Sample Ads Below) There is a birthday special that your restaurant is offering and the Facebook Ads would be displayed only to those whose birthdays are in the offing. An event is being organized and you wish to target local college graduates, who are single and 25-35 years old. They are on Facebook and you can reach them with Facebook Ads.
Re: Are you going to use Facebook Timeline? Re: Are you going to use Facebook Timeline? - Hi apu, I Recently used Facebook Timelines, actually it seems like a Facebook blog which makes profile page more attractive but i don't think it will help in internet marketing because it also slow the speed of Facebook Page.
