If your planning to do all the writing yourself you need to be very creative and a good writer to make your articles work online. There are many free and paid possibilities to distribute your articles online. Many SEO companies incorporate article writing and publishing into their SEO packages to increase ranking for their clients websites.

Normally every article directory, like for example Ezine allows one or two links in the resource box and this makes it very interesting to start writing as it will increase your search engine rankings.

When you publish an article on Ezine it will be displayed in your chosen category. Other people who are in search of content will visit Ezine and select articles to display on their website. Every article will contain one or two links with targeted anchor tags to your site. In this way you can create a huge amount of back links which is complete natural and white hat SEO strategy.

Some other popular sites to publish articles are Articlesbase, Articlerich and 1ideaarticle. Most of them are free and can be found in Google. When you have a reasonable budget available, you can choose to use a paid service which will distribute your article online, normally this is an expensive service but well worth to make your campaign successful.

There are a few things to watch out for. Do not copy content from other websites and use it to produce your articles it can get you banned and account closed. Use proper English, if your not a native speaker ask a friend or family member to help you. Most directories do not accept images so do not include them into your articles.

If you keep the above things in mind and create some nice content your campaign will succeed. As reward your website will rank higher and get more free traffic which will lead to more sales.

The following are some good strategies that are proven to work to help ou gain traffic to your website A) Forum Marketing b) Article Marketing - (Where you distribute your content is the key to success with Article marketing) c) Video Marketing d) Blogging e) Social Media ( sharing content amoungst a targeted network of friends or creating Fan Pages and updating) f) Ezine advertising ( send solo mailings to email lists of people within your niche) Go to google and type in your niche name followed by ezine or newsletter g) Pay per Click H) Joint ventures and ad swaps ( generally will need a list of email subscribers of your own) I) Classified adverts online J) Banner and Image ads - go to google and type in google image ads - full tutorial their I would reccomend you pick one strategy and learn it until you can generate some great traffic and then you should look to move on and implement other strategies.

After you learn in.. Start with the basic SEO techniques: - Web Directories Submission - Classified Ads - Social Bookmarking - Forum Posting - Blogging - Article Submission Then the rest follows..
