Link Building
Link Building
There are several ways to get Link building to your site. Here's how
Send Link Exchange Requests to Potential Links Partners
Get your site ready to exchange links with prospective link partners. To do this you will need to create a link directory page that will be used to exchange links with other webmasters. You are now ready to embark on your link exchange campaign.
Finding potential link partners is the easy part. You can do this by searching on major search engines like Google, MSN and Yahoo for your targeted keywords and then visit each website in the top 100 - 200 listings. Make sure that the site you are requesting a link exchange with, is related to yours. When you have identified a potential link partner, add their link to the appropriate category in your site's link directory and then send the webmaster an email to stating:
1) That you have linked to their website.
2) Include a direct link to the page where the link can be found.
3) State how linking to each other would be of mutual benefit.
4) Include your linkback details.
Try to get Link building to a variety of your web pages, not just the homepage. You will achieve better long term results this way and remember to use a keyword in the anchor text.
Article Marketing
A great way of building on-way links while driving free, targeted traffic to your site is through article submissions. Writing articles and submitting them to article directories for publication (find them by entering ‘article directories’ in any search engine) can deliver hoards of traffic to your site if your articles are inspiring.
Remember to always include a link to your website in your articles resource box.
Directories
Submitting your website's link to directories is another way of getting Link building. Directories normally offer 3 types of listings:
1) Free listing
2) Free listing with reciprocal link
3) Paid listing
If you pay or offer a reciprocal link, provided your website meets the submission guidelines and meets the directory criteria, your site will usually be listed within a matter of days. If you go for a free listing, chances are you will have to wait longer and listing is not guaranteed.
It’s not easy to get your site listed in established directories which have a Google page rank 6 or above. However this is more beneficial for the purposes of increasing your own rankings than having lots of links from smaller and newer directories.
Press Release
Like article marketing, a press release is a vehicle on which to gain a one-way link. A press release is basically a way to announce an event for your business. Remember, when you are writing your press release, include a link pointing to your site.

Page rank shouldn't be ignored when building Link building. The higher the page ranking of relevant websites (websites that have content related yours) linking to you, the faster your website will reach top ranking in Google. To gain a high rank, you need to build as many Link building as possible. On the other hand, you don't want to grow your Link building too fast as Google may sandbox or ban your website for this reason. Google have not released any specific guidelines of how many links you can build daily. Based on my experience it is safe to have 5 to 10 Link building per day.
