The problem often though is that when faced with the technical and marketing options it can all become a little overwhelming. Should you run a PPC campaign or stick to just, organic or natural SEO? What about online SEO, offline SEO, link building, link baiting, social media marketing and email marketing? How might you go about doing it? What are the implications and what do you need to do to ensure success?

First things first - get some expert advice. Talk with an SEO professional about the different options, what they mean and how they might impact on your overall Internet presence. The chances are that you will want to use a blend of SEO and online marketing techniques and channels. SEO and web marketing expertise will help identify how to integrate them for the best returns.

How about your website content? What are you sharing with your visitors? You can do far worse than making great content your starting point - the bedrock of your online marketing.

When considering effective content look at it in two ways:

• From the visitor perspective - helpful, interesting content that converts. After all, isn't the whole point of your site to fulfil business objectives?

• From the link building perspective - material that appeals to other sites and inspires inbound links. It's estimated that 70%+ of the weighting/ranking used by the engines depends on links. If you're not carefully considering your content and thinking about how your pages will encourage bloggers/writers/media and other sites to link to your site, you will doubtless lose out to other sites that do.

You will also lose out to sites that market themselves better, both on and off line. You can have all the great content going but if your site is buried under the marketing 'noise' of your competition then in reality you will struggle. Again, talk with an SEO or web marketing expert about how to take your great content to market, techniques and the channels you should use to develop ongoing and sustainable Internet success. They understand the 'big picture' and know how you can break it up and piece it back together to fulfil your business objectives.

The movie is all about keeping secret. there were two secret kept: the secret of dragon scroll and secret of cooking, later the secret was revealed which was no secret kept. the reason am relating this movie with the topic is that, you can give out 90% for free and hold on to 10% secret which will make you have more customer and traffic. I know some marketers both the internet and offline that will give you 100% product for free but whenever they want to sell to you the little one you will be glad to respond because of their gesture. What I would like to say is that giving out most of the product is a great marketing strategy to win more buyers to your future products.
Article Marketing Article Marketing - Article marketing is probably one of the best traffic generation techniques available online right now. Do not underestimate the importance of article marketing to your online business, because it can totally help you ensure the success of your business.
Online vs. Offline Marketing Online vs. Offline Marketing - I think it really depends on your business model. For example, for my company I do mostly online marketing. It's the most cost effective way to create awareness and I have a way to monetize the traffic. It's hard to run a website based business without online marketing. I have done some offline marketing in the form of media interviews, seminars, conferences, etc. but the results pale in comparison to what I can generate online. There are also many successful offline businesses that don't use any online marketing efforts. Depending on your business model sometimes referrals are the best way to grow as supposed to web marketing. I think it's hard to find a business that could not benefit from both online and marketing efforts but depending on your business model (and the personality of the owner) most entrepreneurs typically skew towards one over the other.
