Search Engine Optimization - How To Avoid Your Web Site Being Sand Boxed Or Banned By Google

Google is the most popular search engines and a website has to comply with several
rules and regulation before being accepted in the ''elite Google organic ranking''.
The most popular ways for google SEO are: content writing, page keyword optimization,
article submission, press releases, etc...

You will know that the SEO is working for your online business when you get a high
ranking in the organic searches – you should be among the first 15-25, higher traffic
greater ROI (return on investment), lower cost per customer brought in, higher
conversion rates, better brand recognition, higher visibility, less promotion
cost, etc...

Google has fixed rules for SEO and those who do not follow them are quarantined or
worse, outright banned! If you are among those unlucky websites who do not pass the
acid test, you will end up in the ‘sand box’ a place where suspicious websites are
segregated. Google has a thorough method of checking and this is why very few
‘unethical’ websites get through its high-security checking.

In order to get your website indexed in the first place your website should be
able to please the spiders that Google will send on your web site. The spiders
will measure the pros and cons of your website and will also report on the methods
used for search engine optimization.

What you need to avoid when you submit to Google:

1. Keyword stuffing

2. Rapid building of low quality links or link farming

3. Over optimization

4. Spamming

5. Hidden links

6. Cloaked links

7. Site With Frames

8. Hidden text

9. Pages not visible through the site

10. Duplicate content

If you want a good ranking with Google, ensure that you follow all these rules.
In the end, it is well worth it!

Re: Can someone explain Search engine optimization to me? Re: Can someone explain Search engine optimization to me? - Search Engine Optimization (SEO) could be compared to a big popularity contest: A High School Computer Geek and a High School Football Captain who are trying to promote a party. The computer geek tells everyone in school & even hands out 100's of flyers about his party Friday night...what happens? his friends end up showing up and a few new people...even the new people leave right away because it is not what they are looking for. The High School Football Captain ends up just telling a few good buddies, and within hours the entire school not only knows about it, but everyone wants to come, and everyone does come & stay. One defenition of "optimize is "To make as perfect or effective as possibe." How effective are your article marketing campaigns? Could you be distributing content (that is what search engines index) more effectively? In a perfect world, who would you want promoting your website, web pages, and web content? Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is determining this perfect & effective way to do this. Jeff

Re: How to Promote Your Business Online Re: How to Promote Your Business Online - Apart from using Search Engine Optimization or SEO for promoting websites, I also find Pay per Clicks (PPC) to be a very good way to do. Why? For me it doesn't open only one oppurtunity for you, in fact it opens 2! You can generate your awaited traffic even w/o saying stop, ready and go and gain a maximized profit too.
