Content management systems and applications have become an integral part of web site development because it facilitates the publishing of a wide range of webpage items from a single user-friendly system.

• Document Management - CMS allows you to control document creation/editing, revision and publishing. Many tasks involved in managing the life cycle of a document can be done through CMS.

• Workflow Management - Workflow is the process of creating a series of tasks that must be completed in a CMS. For example, web content can only get integrated after it is revised and gets approved by an editor to be published online.
