Create a website or websites that you intend to use for an extended length of time to get fantastic search engine rankings. If you create short term websites with little content, and nothing but lists of links that go to your other existing sites, chances are your sites may never make it to top positions in Google, or may even be eliminated from the largest search engines like AOL® and Google®. The major search engines are using seriously complex formulas and algorithms that are constantly being honed and updated to fine-tune their listings and search placements while eliminating websites that are considered not particularly helpful or irrelevant. Being #1 on Google takes more than just having a well designed web site. Google's Algorithm looks at such things as all the meta tags, how long your web site is registered for, how many places/servers IP addresses it has been hosted on, the content of the site, how often the content changes, the relevancy of the website content and over 100 other important factors.

If you are a not particularly intense or skilled writer, you can hire a Web Development Company or a web search engine optimization specialist (SEO) to make your site and it's content credible, insightful, with the proper use of keywords and keyword phrases for your website. It is better to put serious work into one or two websites than limited work into several websites when looking to optimize sites for search engine indexing. You will want to limit the amount of advertisements you have on every page; your content should be the primary concern for your web page creations for best in class SEO and to obtain top SEO rankings. To be ranked on the #1 Top of Google, consider avoiding pop up's, Flash, image laden pages, bloated content, keyword stuffing, unfamiliar layouts, difficult navigation etc. The best way to be #1 on Google, is by having a world class website. A website that ranks at the top of Google, Yahoo and Bing is no easy venture and should not be left in the hands of a novice, or someone that does not have the time to devote. Consider hiring an expert, and contributing your expertise and content.

Creating multiple accounts for various sites and posting and ranking your own stuff. It's very time consuming to say the least. I'm just wondering if there's anyone out there that has done this and thinks it's beneficial.
