••••••> Domain Age of Your Website and How Long Registered Matters When It Comes to SEO

Did you know that the longer you have a domain name the more credible the website becomes? It's true, search engine spiders and the Google Algorithm actually assess a domain's names age when considering how to rank websites and web pages in their search results. It is extremely rare to see a "new" website ranked #1 on Google. The older (longer the website has been registered) the better it is for the website SEO and ranking potential because it proves that the website owner is actually interested in maintaining the site and hopefully keeping it interesting, intriguing, and alive by including new, pertinent updated content and information.

This is to ensure that the site has not been orphaned or abandoned and that it remains in the continual state of evolution and to assure that the search results that the search engines provides to their users are pertinent and up to date.

You may not be able to do anything about how long your site has been on the web or how new it is, but you can spend the few extra dollars and register the site for at least a 3 year period, this along with other best in class SEO practices is what will eventually put your website as #1 in Google an
