Most important base of any website is knowing the structure and site map. These two things should be very clear in the first place before jumping any further. After deciding the sitemap I developed the entire content in 30 days.

Points to remember when making a seo friendly website:

Website Goal - Web site must have some goal to serve like: Promoting your product or service, conveying a point, etc.

Target Audience - Know who your market is and your potential customers.

Sitemap and Navigation- must like user can directly go to home page from any of the internal linked pages. Also sitemap should be very easy to understand even to a first time user. This is one of the most important factor which I consider for successful Search engine optimization.

Personal Attention – Give personal attention to all your customers and believe in your ability to sell online.

Graphics – Use graphics only where necessary and use more of relevant text.

Content Rich – Content is the king. Only content can help Search engine optimization process. Good quality content will always work wonder to any website whether selling service or selling products online

Site Color Scheme and layouts - Website must have a consistent in layout, and look and feel. Keep colors and themes constant throughout the site.

Check website links offline – check your web site whether all links works offline. Broken and dead links should be linked backed again before uploading.

Hosting – upload the website to the root directory and its should have index.html or index.htm file extension. again the extension must me consistent if you select .html than all pages should end with .html



Remember: A domain rich website with user friendly navigation and a with good content can rank higher in search engine in less than 8 months.
