While talking with clients and prospects over the years we have found the majority of online businesses should not be trying to reach the entire country or the world, but instead trying to reach, and be found by the people in their local area, their state, or region.

For Example: a day spa located in a city in NC should be marketing to visitors to the city and people within their area in NC. Therefore, it would make sense for them to optimize their website for the localized market and for people visiting that market who will be looking for their services.

These are very popular search terms. I agree that too many niche categories is not a good idea, maybe keep it to a minimum 2-3 internet related topics. Good job on the banners BennyBoy!
