Social Media Optimization (SMO) is a way to optimize websites so they would be more easily connected or interlaced with online communities and community websites. For Example Tagging, easier linking, Community websites linking, links through Web 2.0 sites incorporation of third party community functionalities (except from sites Like Flicker, YouTube etc.) and most Importantly to let the content of site travel (especially those sites, that are content rich)
