Are You Going to Let 2010 Leave You in Fnancial Limbo Or Ready to Change Your Life.

As 2009 comes to an end and we begin a brand new year, you might be looking for a brand new career. I don't have to tell you the many benefits of choosing a career that allows you to work from home. The benefits are numerous and obvious. And I probably don't have to tell you that as technology continues to evolve, more and more people are creating their businesses and making a living from the comfort of their own homes.

So, what are some of the best businesses to start from home? The answers to this question could fill a page by themselves. These days there are home businesses that make a profit doing everything from selling items on auction sites to teaching people how to make money selling things on auction sites and almost any type of business you can think of.

But becoming an internet marketing consultant and running your internet marketing consultancy from home tops the list of the best home businesses to start in 2009. Here are just a few reasons why starting a home business as an internet marketing consultant is a good idea.

Very Low Start-Up Cost - As far as business start up costs go, starting an internet marketing business from home costs little to nothing to get off the ground. The things you'll absolutely have to have to start your internet business are a website, an email address, and resources for learning the business.

With so many companies competing for business in the domain registration and website creation world, you can purchase a domain name (web address or URL) and a hosting package (making your website live on the internet) for very little money. And if you have absolutely no budget for building a website, there are plenty of free website builders out there. However, these usually do not look as professional as using one of the many low cost website creation services out there.

Most of the time, when you buy a domain name for your new business, you'll get at least one - and usually five or more - email addresses to go with it such as yourname@yourinternetmarketingbusiness.com. So, getting the email address you'll need in order to keep in touch with current and potential clients is very easy and often free.

Very Little Start-Up Knowledge - The field of internet marketing has grown, and continues to grow, almost daily. Because of this, you need only spend a little time on the internet researching the field to find out the basics. Doing so will give you a strong foundation with which to start and build your new consulting business on. Sure, there's a lot you'll need to know eventually, but being an internet marketing consultant is a career that allows you to grow as you go.

You can start your business knowing information in only one of the many areas of internet marketing such as email marketing and specialize in helping your clients with just this one thing. Then, as you gain more and more clients in the sub field of email marketing, you can be learning the ins and outs of link building and add that facet of internet marketing to your repertoire.

Then, you can learn another are of internet marketing while specializing in helping your clients with email marketing and link building. The field of internet marketing is so wide open, that you can continue this pattern until you've mastered every sub field of it and are one of the best internet marketing consultants on the internet because you can help your clients do it all.

There are several more reasons why starting an consultancy business from your home is at the top of the list of the best home businesses to start in 2010. But, the two reasons I've just given you should be enough to convince you that, if you're looking for a new career in the New Year, becoming an internet marketing consultant is definitely a career you should consider

Re: Charge what you're worth Re: Charge what you're worth - [quote="Tami Szabo":292ze3jd]People will pay you what you ask. Very few will ever up the price. You are the one who decided what you are worth. The key is that we believe our services are worth the price we are asking.[/quote:292ze3jd] Hi Tami, You're absolutely right. In "Think and Grow Rich", Jessie B. Rittenhouse says "For Life is a just employer, He gives you what you ask, But once you have set the wages, Why, you must bear the task. I worked for a menial's hire Only to learn, dismayed , That any wage I had asked of Life, Life would have willingly paid" (Napoleon Hill 35). I think the same can be said when setting prices on eBay or Craigslist, especially when people are trying to haggle you.
Re: Twitter Censorship? Re: Twitter Censorship? - I haven't heard that but it wouldn't surprise me. Seems like there are people/governments/sites all over the place trying to get internet censorship. Personally I think it's a bad idea. Once you open that can of worms then where does it stop? Leave it be and see what it can truly grow into!
