Give your list the desires of their heart
If you were smart when you marketed your initial product, you now have a list of rabid buyers, interested parties, and future clients. This list of email contacts are gold, and should be treated in a precious manner. Ask the members of your list exactly what they want. Were they entirely happy with your first product? What would they like to see added to your current course? What was missing from your first product offering? The answers to these questions are the spring board from which you can launch your next product. You can even give them a free gift when they give you their important suggestions and feedback.
Additionally, remember that these are buyers with which you are communicating. They have proven that are ready, willing, and able to take out their debit cards and pay for what they consider valuable. If you can develop a product that answers the questions that they have in their minds, you should have no issues getting them to pay you for your knowledge.
Google trends are your friends
If you have not been able to find enough information to create another product, Google Trends is an excellent source of what is hot right now. Searching on their site will reveal several of the most popular areas on which to focus your next product. Be careful not to target a passing fad, but focus your attention on items that are sure to last. Trends which involve politics, news, and Obama are good examples of items that have more longevity.
CPA networks have plenty of material
Another way to find great ideas about which to write is to utilize the power of a CPA network. These networks contain offers that are too numerous to count, but looking at what you can promote will give you ideas for your next eBook, physical product, or video course. Perhaps a certain niche has words written about it, but does not have a video product at this point. You may be the one who can create a product of this type. Be on the watch for any voids that an excellent product from you can fill. Fill this void, and you may also fill your pockets with more money than your previous product.
Creating your next product can take time, but if you follow the steps which are laid out above, you can have your next product developed in no time. Ask the opinion of the members of your list, master the strength of Google Trends, and you will have more than enough material to write your next course or next couple of courses.
