Re: Making marketing products Re: Making marketing products - Photoshop is a great option. You can read online tutorials and make exactly what you need. You can also hire professionals who can do that.
Top Banner picture Top Banner picture - Thanks Kevin - something to consider! I like the group shot though as it makes it look like a community. I'm not sure if we could achieve that effect with Photoshop if people submitted pictures.
Re: Kevin's Forum Mastermind Group Re: Kevin's Forum Mastermind Group - [quote="TannyL":2k1sz3vp]Hi Kevin. My personal goal is to start learning graphic design by the end of 2009, if my financial situation will allow it. [/quote:2k1sz3vp] An update. Since the holidays are here, and I had to go to work for the last 3 days just to punch in ans look at the beautiful sky, I decided to do something with my spare time, since i can work with my laptop at work and have very limited access to websites. I love working with GIMP. For those of you who don't know what GIMP is, it is the same as Adobe Photoshop, but free, I think it's even better. The GIMP website has everything a new user need to know about the program, starting with which is what, how to open images, save them, and working step by step to complicated stuff. i had 3 full days to learn and experiment. I am glad to say, I learn more than a few things I didn't know, and with a little more practice I will be able to create nice things. Doing this, there is no need for me to take a special course to learn how to use GIMP or Photoshop. One goal is soon to be accomplished.
Re: New Twitter Backgrond - thoughts? Re: New Twitter Backgrond - thoughts? - Thanks Alan - I'm glad it has inspired you! I just took a background from someone else to get the dimensions and then used Photoshop to put my background together.
